International Fest

 I. Introduction

​I have noticed that not every culture is celebrated or recognized only the some cultures and
countries are recognized for example the American culture the Mexican culture but there are so
many different cultures in the different continents that are in the world and they are not really
recognized. So through International Fest we want to try to bring recognition to these cultures
and countries because this is an International school and our students need to be aware of all the
diversity in the world as much as possible. It will be hard to get all the cultures or countries from
all over the world so we will try to focus on bring a couple of cultures from different continents
from all over the world and those will be the cultures than nobody has really heard from and
those will be the main cultures that we focus on. By doing this I would show most of the
diversity that is around the world by having International Fest and by bringing the different
cultures together.

II. Learning​ ​Objectives

A. To improve my research skills.
B. To be able to understand the different cultures that I will be researching.
C. To learn to collaborate with others and for each person has an equal amount of work.
D. To learn to use my time more efficiently.
E. To be able to understand others perspective on how to collaborate in the group more
efficiently.

III. Timeline

I will narrow down the cultures that will be February 23,2017

represented in International Fest

Decide with my team what else needs to be done March 7,2017

for fundraising and get my team's opinion

IV. Form
The form of this passage will be in an event called International Fest it will be held at the
Denver Center for International Studies on May 5,2016, I will give a brief summary about
International Fest to my committee members.

V. GPS Domains
Well doing this passage I will be using two GPS Domains out of four i will be
Investigating the world in the way that I will be researching different cultures from around the
world to get a better sense on how they operate differently than others.I will also be Taking
Action by creating International Fest and demonstrating to others the diversity that is around the
world​.

The greatest obstacle that I will be facing while doing this passages is procrastination because I
do not have the greatest time management. The way that i will tackle this obstacle is keeping in
mind that this is not only my passage but that I have team members that I have to keep in mind
that what I do also affect them not only that but I will stay on track with my deadlines.
