Holy Spirit.

All: Amen.

Fr. Mitch: The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of the
God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with
you all.

All: And with your spirit.

Fr. Mitch: God is Love and has in some mysterious way, drawn
you, Andro and Lucille together in Love, but he
leaves you free to make that love grow or to let it
wither and die. The Lord will help you, Andro and
Lucille to forge a future for your love, if you do your
share, when you stand to the commitment to love and
honor one another in good times and bad, in poverty
and in plenty, in sickness and in health, for better and
for worse, in the covenant which you are about to seal.
Insert it into that other covenant which we celebrate in
each celebration of the Mass

Gloria
Glory to God in the highest,
and on earth peace to people of good will. We praise
you, we bless you, we adore you, we glorify you, we
give you thanks for your great glory, Lord God,
heavenly King, O God, Almighty Father.
Lord Jesus Christ, Only Begotten Son, Lord God,
Lamb of God,
Son of the Father, you take away the sins of the
world,
have mercy on us; you take away the sins of the
world, receive our prayer;
you are seated at the right hand of the Father, have
mercy on us.
For you alone are the Holy One, you alone are the
Lord,
you alone are the Most High, Jesus Christ, with the
Holy Spirit,
in the glory of God the Father. Amen.

Collect
Fr. Mitch: Let us pray.

Be attentive to our prayers, O Lord, and in your

kindness pour out your grace on these your servants
Andro and Lucille that coming together before your
altar, they may be confirmed in love for one another.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives
and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy spirit, one
God, forever and ever.

Liturgy of the Word
FIRST READING
(Genesis 2:18-24)

Reader: A reading from the Book of Genesis

Then the Lord God said: “It is not good for the man to
be alone. I will make a suitable partner for him.” So
the Lord God formed out of the ground various wild
animals and various birds of the air, and he brought
them to the man to see what he would call the;
whatever the man called each of them would be its
name. The man gave names to all the cattle, all the
birds of the air, and all the wild animals; but none
proved to be suitable partner for the man. So the Lord
God cast a deep sleep on the man, and while he was
asleep, he took one of his ribs and close up its place
with flesh. The Lord God then built into a woman the
rib that he had taken from the man. When he brought
her to the man, the man said: “This one, at last, is bone
of my bones and flesh from my flesh; this one shall be
called „woman,‟ for out of „her man‟ this one has been
taken.” That is why a man leaves his father and
mother and clings to his wife and the two of them
become one body.

Reader: The Word of the Lord.

All: Thanks be to God.

Responsorial Psalm
(Psalm 128)

Reggie: I will bless the Lord at all times.

All: I will bless the Lord at all times.

Reggie: I will bless the Lord t all times; his praise shall be ever
in my mouth. Let my soul glory on the Lord; the lowly
will hear me and be glad.

All: I will bless the Lord at all times.

Reggie: Glorify the Lord with me, let us together extol his
name. I sought the Lord, and he answered me and
delivered me from all my fears.

All: I will bless the Lord at all times.

Reader: Look to him that you may be radiant with joy and
your faces may no blush with shame. When the pour
one called out, , the Lord heard, and from all his
distress he saved him.

All: I will bless the Lord at all times.

SECOND READING
(Corinthians 13:4-13)

Joy: A reading from the Letter of St. Paul to the

Corinthians.

Love is Patient, Kind, without envy. It is not boastful

or arrogant. It is not ill-mannered nor does it seek its
own interest. Love overcomes anger and forgets
offenses. It does not take delight in wrong, but rejoices
in truth. Love excuses everything. Believes all things,
and endures all things. Love will never end.
Prophecies may cease, tongues be silent and
knowledge disappear. For knowledge grasps
something of the truth and prophecy as well. And
when what is perfect comes, everything imperfect will
pass away.

When I was a child, I thought and reasoned like a

child. But when I grew up, I gave up childish ways.
Likewise, at present we see dimly as in a faulty mirror,
but then it shall be face to face. Now we know in part,
but then I know as I am known. Now we have faith
hope and Love, but the greatest of all of these is love.

Joy: The word of the Lord.

All: Thanks be to God.

Floyd: Please all stand.

ALLELUIA (sung)
Reader: Whoever remains in love remains in God and God in
him.

ALLELUIA (sung)
GOSPEL
(Matthew 19:3-6)

Fr. Mitch: The Lord be with you.

All: And with your spirit.

Fr. Mitch: A reading from the Holy Gospel according to Mark.

All: Glory to you, O Lord.

Fr. Mitch: Jesus Said: “from the beginning of creation, made

them male and female. For this reason a man shall
leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife
and the two shall become one flesh. So they are no
longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has
joined together, no human being must separate.”

Fr. Mitch: The Gospel of the Lord.

All: Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ.

Comm: Please be seated.

witnessed today, keep us all faithful in Christ‟s love

Fr. Mitch: Lift up your hearts.

All: It is right and just.

Fr. Mitch: It is truly right and just, our duty and our salvation,
always and everywhere to give you thanks, Lord,
Holy Father, almighty and ever living God through
Jesus Christ our Lord.

For in him you have made a new covenant with your

people, so that as you have redeemed man and
woman by the by the mystery of Christ death and
resurrection, so in Christ you might make them
partakers of divine nature and joint heirs with him of
heavenly Glory.

And so with all the angels and saints, we praise you and
without end we acclaim:

Sanctus

Floyd: Please all kneel.

Fr. Mitch: You are indeed Holy, O Lord, The fount of all
holiness. Make holy, therefore, these gifts, we pray, by
sending down your Spirit upon them like the dewfall,
so that they may become for us the Body and + Blood
of our Lord Jesus Christ. At the time he was betrayed
and entered willingly into his Passion, he took bread
and, giving thanks, broke it, and gave it to his
disciples, saying:

TAKE THIS ALL OF YOU, AND EAT OF IT, FOR

THIS IS MY BODY, WHICH WILL BE GIVEN UP
FOR YOU.

In similar way, when the supper was ended, he took

the chalice and, once more giving thanks, he gave it to
his disciples, saying:

TAKE THIS, ALL OF YOU, AND DRINK FROM IT,

FOR THIS IS THE CHALICE OF MY BLOOD, THE
BLOOD OF THE NEW AND ETERNAL COVENANT,
WHICH WILL BE POURED OUT FOR YOU AND
FOR MANY FOR THE FORGIVENESS OF SINS. DO
THIS IN MEMORY OF ME.
Fr. Mitch: The mystery of faith.

All: We proclaim your Death, O Lord, and profess your

Resurrection until you come again.

Fr. Mitch: Therefore, as we celebrate the memorial of his Death

and Resurrection, we offer you, Lord, the Bread of life
and the Chalice of salvation, giving thanks that you
have held us worthy to be in your presence and
minister to you.

Humbly we pray that, partaking of the Body and

Blood of Christ, we may be gathered into one by the
Holy Spirit. Remember, Lord, your Church, spread
throughout the world, and bring her to the fullness of
charity, together with Francis our Pope, Patricio our
Bishop and Vicente our Bishop Emeritus and all the
clergy.
Be mindful also, Lord, of Andro and Lucille, whom
you have brought to their wedding day, so that by
your grace they may abide in mutual love and peace

Remember also our brothers and sisters who have

fallen asleep in the hope of the resurrection, and all
who have died in your mercy; welcome them into the
light of your face.

Have mercy on us all, we pray, that with the Blessed

Virgin Mary, Mother of God, with St. Joseph, her
spouse, with the blessed Apostles, and all the Saints
who have pleased you throughout the ages, we may
merit to be coheirs to eternal life, and may praise and
glorify you through your Son, Jesus Christ.
Through him, and with him, and in him, O God,
Almighty Father, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, all
glory and honor is yours, for ever and ever.

All: AMEN

Fr. Mitch: At the Savior‟s command and formed by divine

teaching, we dare to say:

The Lord’s prayer

The Nuptial Blessing

Fr. Mitch: Let us pray to the lord for Andro and Lucille who
come to the altar as they begin their married life, that
partaking of the Body and Blood of Christ they may
always be found together by love for one another.

Holy Father who formed man in your image, male

and female you created them, so that as husband and
wife, united in body and heart, they might fulfill their
calling in the world
O God, who, to reveal the great design you formed in
your love, willed that the love of spouses for each
other should foreshadow the covenant you graciously
made with your people, so that, by fulfillment of the
sacramental sign, the mystical marriage of Christ with
his Church might become manifest in the union of
husband and wife among your faithful; Graciously
stretch out your right hand over these your servants
Andro and Lucille, we pray, and pour into their
hearts the power of the Holy Spirit.
Grant, O Lord, that, as they enter upon this
sacramental union, they may share with one another
the gifts of your love and, by being for each other a
sign of your presence, become one heart and one
mind. May they also sustain, O Lord, by their deeds
the home they are forming and prepare their children
to become members of your heavenly household by
raising them in the way of the Gospel.

Graciously crown with your blessings your daughter

Lucille, so that, by being a good wife and a mother,
she may bring warmth to her home with a love that is
pure and adorn it with welcoming graciousness.
Bestow a heavenly blessing also, O Lord, on Andro,
your servant, that he may be a worthy, good and
faithful husband and a provident father. Grant, holy
Father, that, desiring to approach your table as a
couple joined in Marriage in your presence, they may
one day have the joy of taking part in your great
banquet in heaven. Through Christ our Lord.

Fr. Mitch: Lord Jesus Christ, you said to your apostles, “peace U
