3.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
3.1.1 Mortars will be commando type
3.1:2 Mortars will be production of the tender year.
3.1.4 The ammunition will be the same type and model.
3.1.5 The ammunition will be composed and packed after the contract date.
3.1.6 The life of ammo will be at least 10 years in proper storage conditions.

3.2 Technical Specifications of the Mortar weapon:

3.2.1 Inner caliber of the cannon: will be 60,7mm ± 0,05mm::::::::::::::::::::::::::OK


3.2.2 Outer diameter of the cannon will be max 66mm:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::NOK (69 mm)
3.2.3 The height of the firing pin inside the cannon will be 1,8-2,3mm::::::::::::OK (1,2-2mm)
3.2.4Total weight of the weapon will be max 9,5kg:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::OK (7,6 kg)
3.2.5 The average operating pressure of the barrels will be 230kg/cm² :::::::::::OK (245 kg/cm²)
3.2.6 The Surcharge operating pressure will be 260 (+0 -10) kg/ cm² :::::::::::::::OK (250kg/cm²)
3.2.7 The mortar weapons can be used with ammunitions 60mm HE M49A2, M50 A2 (training),
M83A1 (illuminating) and M302 (smoke)
3.2.8 Mortar and its components to be covered with a nonreflecting and anti-corrosion paint.
3.2.9 On the paint cover of the weapons there shall not be damage, crack, defect, erosion,
scrapping, burr, spalling, corrosion and oxidation. This issue will be committed to the
acceptance commission during the inspection and acceptance test phase.
3.2.10 The following materials will be delivered together with each weapon.
3.2.10.1 Hex wrench 1 (one) pc. According to the TSE3797 or DIN9/1 standard
3.2.10.2 Screwdriver (149/5) (1 pc) According to the TSE 59/1 or DIN 5265A standard
3.2.10.3 Wrench (32) (1 pc) According to the TSE 81/6 or DIN 3110 standard
3.2.10.4 Spare firing pin 2 (two) pcs
3.2.10.5 Carrying bag 1 (one) pc
3.2.11 There will be manufacturing year, manufacturing company name and serial numbers on
the weapons made of polisaj
3.2.12 The marking will be correct, clear and easily readable.
3.2.13 An identity card will be given with each mortar.

3.3 Technical Specifications of the Ammunition:

3.3.1 The ammunition will produce both fragment and blast effect.
3.3.2 The components of the complete shell will be consisted of projectile body, fuze,
demountable fins, 4 pcs incrementally increasable propellant charge, ignition cartridge
w/primer.
3.3.3 The body of the ammunition will be made of forged steel. This issue will be certified to the
acceptance commission during the inspection and acceptance test phase.
3.3.4 The ammunition type will be M49A2 HE.
3.3.5 The weight of the shell will be max 1,41kg with fuze.
3.3.6 The length of the shell will be max 25cm. with fuze.
3.3.7 The explosive charge will be min 170g TNT or equivalent type of explosive.
3.3.8 The ammo will be painted khaki green or shadows and the markings on it will be yellow.
3.3.9 According to the propellant charge amounts the muzzle velocities of the ammo is shown
on the below table.

3.3.10 The ammunition will be proper to be fired between the temperatures -40 Cᵒ and +51 Cᵒ
3.2.11 On the paint cover of the ammunition there shall not be any damage, crack, defect,
erosion, scrapping, burr, spalling, corrosion and oxidation. This issue will be committed to
the acceptance commission during the inspection and acceptance test phase

3.2.12 The marking will be correct, clear and easily readable.

7.1 The warranty period of the ammo and weapons is 2 (two) years starting from the final
acceptance date.

8.2 The mortars will be delivered as a single batch.


8.3 The ammo will be delivered at most as 2 parties but the number of the ammo in the first
party will be min 400 pcs.

Required quantity:
60mm Mortar weapon: 100 pcs (hundred)
60mm Mortar Ammo: 1000pcs (thousand)
