MTSS Rollout Plan

2017-2018
1. Tier 1: Ideally 100% of students
are represented in this tier. It is
the core instruction.
2. Tier 2: Roughly 20% of students
are represented at this level.
Students at Tier 2 continue to
receive core instruction and are
supplemented with tier 2
interventions.
3. Tier 3: About 5% of students are
represented in tier 3 and continue
to receive core instruction and
tier 2 interventions.

Plan Details
● Each ELA and Math teacher will choose 5 of your “bubble kids” to track
○ The ELA students must be students who are currently in Reading Plus
○ The math students must be students who will be put into math iReady
● Science teachers will support Math; SS teachers will support Reading
● You will fill out the Tier II tracking form for each of your 5 students
● You will implement intervention (Reading Plus or iReady) and track progress
● PLCs will convene the week of 4/9 to discuss progress against the mid-point
goal
● You WILL also be required to implement interventions for any other student
who is in need/per parent request
