 Employment Discrimination, Harassment,
& Sexual Harassment (Policy 4110)
The Clark County School District is an

 Public Records (regulation 1210)
All Public records of the Clark County
School District, the contents of which are
not otherwise declared by law to be
confidential, shall be open at all times
during office hours to inspection by any
person, and may be fully copied as set
forth by regulation.
 Nevada Professional Practices Act (sec.
391.312 NRS, 2001)
This act discusses the grounds for suspension,
demotion, dismissal & refusal to reemploy
teachers. Some examples of reasons include:
-Neglect of duty
-Physical or mental incapability
-Insubordination
-Unprofessional conduct
-A justifiable decrease in the number of
positions due to decreased enrollment or
district reorganization
-Inadequate performance
-Conviction of a felony
 Performance Contract (Policy 3319)
The Board of School Trustees adopts this
policy setting forth the process for evaluating
whether work be performed on a building will
be performed pursuant to a performance
contract.

ensure the right to quality public education.
Also, in the state of Nevada, you are not
required to join a union. If you work as a
teacher or administrator for Clark County
School district you do have the option to
have NSEA represent any court proceedings
