At the end of the lesson, the pupils are expected to;
1. Describe an ecosystem;
2. Identify the living and non-living components of an ecosystem.
3. Distinguish the kinds of ecosystem in the environment.
4. Appreciate the importance of an ecosystem

A. Preliminary Activities
a. Greetings
b. Prayers
c. Class Management
d. Review
e. Motivation: Watching or Showing some pictures
B. Lesson Proper
a. Define some unfamiliar words that would be encountered on discussion
b. Define and ecosystem
c. Recall things that can be seen in a river, sea or forest
d. Identify the two components ecosystem
e. Discuss the two components ecosystem
f. Give example of both of it
g. Identify the two kinds ecosystem
h. Give example of both of it
IV. GENERALIZATION
V. VALUE INTEGRATION
Ecosystem is very important to us because it sustain our needs, the plants and
animals and other non-living things that interact to living things in the environment.
VI. EVALUATION
A. Identify if what kind of ecosystem is given below. Put the word Aqua if the
kind of ecosystem found in water and Terri’s if the kind of Ecosystem is a land on
the space provided.
