​My Mother Cleopatra’s Story

​My mother Cleopatra, was once and still is a well know women, my siblings and I talk

about it sometimes.It generally is upsetting what her and Mark Antony did. When she had me

she was barely 30. She had me with Julius Caesar, one of the some like king of the world, but

not after long he was murdered. Before she went to to met up with Mark Antony she talked to

her servant about it I was there.

“I’m not sure if I should go or not after what happen to Caesar”,my mother had said.

“Go to actually see what he needs. They were good friends or did you forget”, our servant had

told her.

“I would go for the future of Egypt, as I am the ruler”,my mother told the servant

So after she came back from Tarsus. What suppose to be a visit turn into a stay for

Mark Antony.He had feel for my mom as she went dress as a greek goddess. She had a mind of

politician. Mark Antony, was part of triumvirate in Rome as I knew. It haven’t play out well to

when he went back.

When he went back Octavian with the other members in the triumvirate was upset

with him. Octavian had ask the senate to declare war on Mark Antony. That when I had to go to

Rome with my mother to go help this guy out. They got married and all that happened then he

asked my mom for money to fight against Octavian. He asked her a little like this.

“ Cleopatra, dear could I borrow money to fight against Octavian.” Antony told her.
 Like my mother, she went and said yes that they would fight together. My mom had a

mind of an fox when it was power and politics. Yet that’s where the first mistake began. We had

went back to Egypt and the war began with Rome and Octavian.

When it came to the war a lot of the soldiers have left us for Octavian, since we were

running out of food and sources or at least my mother and a somewhat dad was. They lost

more and more troops as it went on. After a while it got worst so my mom made an agreement

with Octavian.

“ Octavian could you just end this war that been happening we could come to an agreement

please”, my mom said.

So both my mom and him talk about it to end this for both Rome and Egypt. She knew

Mark Antony or my step-dad i’m guessing will be upset.So she had gone to her tomb where no

one could come and stay there,she told her servant this “Tell Mark Antony that I have died “.

After they had, they reported that he killed himself.It was devastating for both me and

her because after that she had actually kill herself with snakes. I lost my mother and learn that

lying isn’t the way and that I should talk to one another before any decisions. It was devastating

and upsetting for not only me but Mark Antony’s and my mom ( Cleopatra ) other kids and

family.My mom was like a hawk quite sharp but sometime not enough.

Long after her death I didn’t become the ruler of Egypt there was lots of us I was the

oldest. Yet I talk to Philip about it and what we were going to do.

“ So after mom and your dad’s death what is happening to the Egypt??” Philip asked me.

“ Well Egypt is now rule by Rome and their leaders” I told him as he nod.
 Soon after I knew my mom was the last queen, pharaoh or ruler of Egypt. I wasn’t

proud of the choices that happen but I accept it. My story line went on I live as a regular person

I was married to a wonderful person and my life is fine. I would not take in my mother’s

footsteps, but it is for everyone’s best interest.
