A Killa Kan is the smaller cousin of the Deff Dread, a ramshackle, scrap metal walker armed

with an array of deadly weapons. Whereas a Deff Dread is piloted by a hulking Ork, the Killa
Kan's pilot is a sniveling Gretchin. But that doesn't stop Killa Kans from wielding large caliber
weapons and vicious close combat weapons of all kinds, including wicked-looking buzzsaws and
power shears.

Still prone to the cowardice that gripped the Grots before being wired in, Killa Kans take to
battle in loose packs. They advance on the enemy as a clanking, whirring mob, their weaponry
slicing and shooting into the air in anticipation of getting to grips with the foe. When in combat
Kans relish the power their improved stature gives them, wreaking havoc on those who mocked
and bullied them in the past. Usually this is channeled towards the enemy, but sometimes a
particularly mean Ork will get his comeuppance beneath the steel foot of a Killa Kan.

Killa Kans can be armed with a wide range of weapons, from extra close combat weapons and
big shootas to rokkit launchas and skorchas. Perhaps most devastating of weapons is the
grotzooka, a giant blunderbuss rammed full of as much scrap as the Meks can find before the
battle - and after a lifetime of persecution, the pilot of a Killa Kan is all-too ready to let rip with
such a gun.

On the Tabletop
You can take a mob of up to three Killa Kans as a Heavy Support choice for little more than the
price of a Space Marine Dreadnought. They're fighty in close combat and can be armed with a
range of heavy weapons, so send them in with your mobs of Boyz to provide fire support.

Use your Killa Kans to:

Stomp on da Best Enemy: Their Strength 10 Dreadnought close combat weapons will make a
mockery of any high-Toughness, heavily armoured enemy, so send your Killa Kans in against
any elites you face. And as they strike at a higher Initiative than a power fist or thunder hammer,
you can do so without reservation.

‘Elp da Boyz: With a BS of 3, Killa Kans are the best shots at your disposal. Tool them up with
rokkits or shootas to really take advantage of their heightened accuracy, and then use them to
provide fire support to your Boyz.

Krush da Wheelz: A mob of Killa Kans will tear through a vehicle with monstrous ease, so use
them to hunt down your enemy's heavy armour. Even walkers geared up for assault will come
undone against a concerted attack by your Kans, as you will almost always have the advantage of
numbers - that Dreadnought might kill a Kan but your two remaining walkers will tear its arms
off.
Watch out for:
Monstrous Creatures: A monstrous creature will eat a Killa Kan for breakfast, and then the
other two Kans for lunch and dinner. Shoot monstrous creatures from a distance and don't go
near them under any circumstance.

Heavy Weapons: Their front armour value of 11 might make them impervious to small-arms
fire, but they remain vulnerable to heavy weapons. Watch out for those missile launchers and
lascannons.
