SUBJECT: SUPPLY & ERECTION OF PRE − ENGINEERED STEEL BUILDING

Multipurpose Hall with 3T Crane at Faisalabad.

Respected Sir,
Thank you for considering IZHAR STEEL (Pvt) Ltd for this valuable inquiry. On the basis of your
requirement, we are submitting you the Technical & Commercial Proposal. The detailed
parameter for this particular inquiry has been mentioned in Section-I of this quotation.
Highlighted Points;
 0.5mm Thick Bare Zincalume sheets without Insulation are applicable at roof.
 At all wall, 0.5mm Thick Pre-Painted Zincalume sheets without insulation is applicable
above open area & existing civil structure from FFL. (Open area detail is given in the
reference section of this proposal).
 The heights of the proposed building are being varied (at grid 3 & 6); transition frame
(false rafter) is considered. Detail is showing in the proposal drawings.
 Structure frame type is clear span without any intermediate column in the width of the
building.
 At NSW & FSW existing civil structure whose height is 11.278m & 7.926m respectively.
Length of existing building @ FSW is full length along the proposed building & NSW is
18.206m as per provided drawings from REW. The proposed building independent of
any existing building.
 For cranes, ISPL will provide only crane runway girders, Brackets and crane stoppers.
Further, supply & installation of crane along with rail will be in crane supplier’s scope of
work – not in our scope of work.
 This proposal is based on the assumption of crane loads. However, the proposal will be
revised if crane data will revise.
 1 no of 03T cranes will operate in complete width of the building throughout the length
of building.
 The assumed date for 03T crane is as follows, Trolley/hoist weight is 0.58T, Wheel load is
2.04T & wheel base 2.0m and crane hook height is 12.640m from FFL.
 1no of cage ladder is considered in this proposal.
 In building accessories gravity ridge ventilators are considered in this proposal.
 ISPL Quotation and Proposal Drawings (Latest Revision) will supersede all bid
documents, discussions & previous revisions (if any). In case, this Quotation deviates any
Client’s requirements, we shall submit a Revised Quotation accordingly.
 Any change from the Contractual Parameters, if marked by the Client at the stage of
Approval Drawing phase, shall be charged according to the latest rate at that time along
with the revised timelines. Technical and Commercial approval from the Client shall be
required to incorporate that change in the Project.
 Any type of Collateral Load is not been considered in the design of PEB Roof. If there is
such any kind of load then quotation would be revised accordingly.

  For any particular standard requirements regarding Health & Safety, Dispatch & Packing,
Crane, Labors, Scaffolding, Safety Standard Kits etc., our quotation would be revised
with Price & Time.
 All above mentioned points are integral part of “Section 10” of this quotation.
 Any type of civil work & its stability is not included in the scope of ISPL.
 This quotation is prepared on the assumption that the client has both NTN & STRN. In
case, otherwise, the quotation will be revised accordingly.
 Any type of civil work & stability of civil is not included in ISPL scope of work

SECTION 6: SUPPLY DELIVERY PERIOD:
Our current Delivery Period for supply is 12 to 14 weeks from the latest date of receipt
and acceptance of the following (whichever comes latest):
 Signed contract (Any change must be noted and initialed by both parties).
 Advance Payment.
 Final change order.
 Signed Approval Drawings.
NOTE: Erection Time Span would be communicated to you after inspecting the Job Site.
SECTION 7: PROPOSAL VALIDITY:
This proposal is valid for 07 days from the mentioned date. After that IZHAR STEEL
reserves the right to revise the proposal.
SECTION 8: PAYMENT TERMS:

a). For Supply Price (Section – 11)

 Advance upon confirmed work order 50%

b). For Erection & Painting (Section – 12)
 Advance – before Erection. 50%
 After Completion of Erection. 50%

SECTION 9: HEALTH & SAFETY STANDARDS:

 The quoted Prices (for Supply & Erection) and Delivery period are based on Izhar Steel
Health & Safety standard with regular crane and tools specifications.
 For any other particular requirement regarding crane certification/Brand restriction,
Labour clearance, Safety Tools/Kits, Life Line, Limited working hours and any other
requirement which may affect cost and/or Time, this quotation would be revised.

SECTION 10: TERMS & CONDITIONS:

a). For Supply Price (Section – 11)

1. Manufacturing and Supply of building would be initiated only after receipt of complete
Engineering Package duly approved by the client/consultant and Advance Payment.
2. Both parties agreed that the price quoted in this quotation is based on a lump sum basis
calculated according to the building descriptions as well as the required loading and
codes shown above and not as a re-measurable basis.
3. Any change and/or revision to the above stated scope of supply may lead to a variation
in the price and the delivery period. A change must not hold payment for work
completed in the original contract.
4. Civil work like footings, Brick wall, Flooring is not included in the scope of Izhar Steel.
Hence accuracy in civil work is to be assured by Client. The Footings must fulfill the
Loading Capacity of our Column Reactions and sizes of our Base Plates & Anchor Bolts.
Any fault in civil construction related to Pre-Engineered Building shall not be borne by
ISPL in any aspect.
5. Anchor Bolt Plan (By IZHAR STEEL) needs strictly be followed by Client regarding critical
measurements and clearance requirement as per Drawings.
6. Accuracy in final measurements / dimensions of PEB is the responsibility of the client.
7. IZHAR STEEL shall only supply Standard Anchor Bolts (J-Bolts) but it’s grouting in civil
foundations and supervision is not in the scope of IZHAR STEEL. Also, any other types
(Chemical/Expansion Bolts) of Bolts are not included in this Proposal.
8. Space for storage of material will be provided near the work area and covered store for
small parts, insulation and T&P will also be provided nearby.
9. We have based our offer on present day market prices (Raw Materials & Dollar Rates)
and present Government Taxation (4.0 % Withholding Tax & 17% Sales tax). Any
variation in the above will be claimed to Client.
10. Sales Tax Invoice shall be submitted within 07 days of Building/Material Dispatch.
11. We shall be compensated for any change in building parameters/extra works.
12. Transportation of the Complete Material till site is included in our Supply Price (Section –
11). However, Erection Cost of Structure is separately quoted in this Proposal (Section –
12).
13. If the job is “On Hold” from client due to payment or Approval Drawings or any reason
before release to engineering & production for over a period of 20 days, Izhar Steel
reserves the right to re-price the project according to the rates valid at the time of
release.
14. All the structural steel members will be fabricated in the prime facility of IZHAR STEEL
PVT Ltd at 36-Km Multan Road Lahore.
15. Any Additional Charges like Stacking charging in ISPL Workshop, Transportation in Partial
Shipment, Idol Labor for Delayed Material Supply etc., if caused by Delay in Payments or
any other reason at client’s ends, shall be paid by Client.
16. Any type of E.O.B.I and Employee’s Social Security charges are not included in IZHAR
STEEL’s quote and shall be borne by client (if any)
17. To schedule this project in the efficient manner, return the approval drawings (which
will be submitted after project awarding) with your comments marked in RED within 10
days. Any changes made after the approval of these drawings may delay the fabrication
and delivery process.
18. All undefined Jobs arise by the Client later which is not included in Contract Proposal
and/or Signed Approval Drawings shall have Additional Impact on Agreed Cost and
Agreed Timelines.

 19. Any fault in civil construction related to PEB Shall not by borne by ISPL in any respect.
20. Loading and packing of material at trailer for transportation will be done as per trailer
loading capacity by following ISPL standards.
21. As per the Standard norms of PEB, Earthing/Grounding of the Building must be
conducted by the Client to be safe and protected from Natural Lightening and other
relevant incidents.
22. ISPL Quotation and Proposal Drawings (Latest Revision) will supersede all bid documents,
discussions & previous revisions (if any). In case, this Quotation deviates any Client’s
requirements, we shall submit a Revised Quotation accordingly.
23. Any change from the Contractual Parameters, if marked by the Client at the stage of
Approval Drawing phase, shall be charged according to the latest rate at that time along with
the revised timelines. Technical and Commercial approval from the Client shall be required
to incorporate that change in the Project.
24. “To avoid leakage, Outer face of brick work must be confined within the outer steel line of
PEB”.

b). For Erection (Section – 12)

1. Separate contract will be added for Erection favoring Izhar Steel (Pvt.) Ltd.
2. Adequate supply of water and power will be given to us at construction site free of any cost
from the very beginning.
3. Space for accommodation of our staff & labor will be provided to us at site free of any cost.
4. We have based our offer on present day government taxes (Sales Tax 16%) for erection
is included in the quoted Price.
5. Health & Safety considerations will be as per IZHAR STEEL Standards. For any special
requirements regarding Health & Safety, our quote will be revised.
6. Client needs to provide smooth and flat surface (obstruction free) site. Clearance of site
does not come under the scope of IZHAR STEEL. The clearance of site for off-loading of
material must be ensured by client at time as off-loading will be done by IZHAR’s
erection team and hence immediate after off-loading, erection will start.
