Electronic Drives

Master Degree in Electronics Master Degree in Mechatronics

Advanced
Electronic Drives – Goals

 Develop skills, competencies, and abilities in power electronic circuits, with

particular emphasis on circuits and devices that are employed to drive electro-
mechanical actuators up to 1kW.

 Understand the technical terminology adopted in the specific literature of

electronic drives.

 Ability to critically evaluate pro and cons of the different kinds of electronic
drives, their limits and prerogatives.

 Ability to discuss the main performance parameters of the different topologies

and architecture of the electronic drives and to find out the relationships amon
them.
Advanced
Electronic Drives – Contents and key features
