DCNHS Environmentalists Joins Capiz Division Yes-O Camp 2018

The DCNHS Environmentalists joins Capiz Division Yes-O Camp with the theme
"Tayo ang kalikasan: Protektahan, Alagaan, Mahalin, Pagyamanin" was held at Sapian
National High School, Sapian, Capiz last January 19-21, 2018.

This said event was participated by different public Secondary High schools
across the province. Hundreds of student participants and coaches is registered in
this environment-friendly activity which aims to educate people on how and why we
need to save and protect Mother Nature.

Several competitions and activities related to the environment were conducted


like jingle to the environment. Eco-fashion, Photo Treebute, Recycling Showcase,
and many more. Also, during the first night, campers enlighted the road with
colorful lights of cellphone, flashlight and improvise lamp while shouting chants
during the eco-lights parade.

During the proclamation of winners and awards, Aura Ester Sionillo (12-STEM)
luckily grabbed a spot to the regionals after being announced as first place for
photo tree-bute together with her coach Eunice Gale Frio. Gerhel Fabraquel IV (12-
STEM) Bezalel Ansag (12-STEM), Ivy tolentino (11-STEM), Jay Francine Faenag (11-
STEM), Jhester Ray Faco (11-STEM), and Zel Zita Frial (7-SPA) grabbed 3rd place for
Eco-fashion Show (Male Category) with their coach Ronald Garcimo.

The camp ended with a grand disco. This camp let the campers develop and gain
new knowledge and experiences as an environmentalists. The campers left with happpy
memories.
