The conference

Created by a team of active members of the software community in Colombia,

ScaleConf Colombia is a pioneering tech conference on scalability, DevOps and
modern software tools and practices in the region.

Our main objective is to level up the community’s knowledge, by bringing

great speakers from the teams that are paving the way for a global scale
in tomorrow’s apps and services.
Our audience

ScaleConf is appealing to a wide audience. We are language-agnostic, and we

welcome people from many backgrounds and experience levels. The talks we host
revolve around modern tools and practices, DevOps, scalable architecture,
battle stories, distributed systems, "pro tips", among other closely-related
topics, so anyone from front-end developers to operations engineers can take
something away from the conference.

The buzz has already started, and the leaders of DevOps groups all across Latin
America are on board too. Who knows? Attendees may also be arriving from
Mexico, Costa Rica, Argentina, Ecuador or Peru!
The place

The event will take place in the beautiful city of

Medellin, known for its year-long nice weather
and warm people. Medellin is also
recognized for its growing software
industry, and is home to the yearly JSConf
Colombia and RubyConf.co, and multiple
meetups revolving around DevOps, Golang,
JS, Ruby, Python, databases, among many
others.
