BISHNAU is a brief, comprehensive and illustrated
introduction to the life and poetry of Maulana
Jalaluddin RUMI, a thirteenth century sufi poet and
scholar of Islam and comparative religion. The word
BISHNAU means “listen”. It is the first word of Rumi’s
magnum opus, the mystic didactic poem “Masnavi”
that has been attributed as the image of the Quran in
Farsi. Rumi preaches Divine love that permeates down
