the castle

crime committed
● “It’s easy for a liar to pretend to feel sorrow when he
actually feels none.” This quote means that their is
someone pretending to be sorry when they were the one
that committed the crime.

● They fear that the murder is still amongst them
● They don’t want to risk their lives by staying around
● Both want to separate that way they both won’t be targeted at once
● Malcolm flees to England

● Macduff rushes into the courtyard to say that King Duncan is dead

● He is lying and two-faced to King Duncan

● He was still true to Duncan till the killing
