The end of the third
quarter grading period is
Wednesday, March 14.
Report cards will be
emailed to parents the week of March 19.
Paper copies will be sent home with
students whose families do not have an
email address on file.
A reminder that you may also check your
child’s grades at any time by using the
PowerSchool account you created.
Parent Social Media Program
Don't miss one of the most

information nights we
host. All Noblesville
parents with students in grades 6-12 are
invited to attend a presentation
concerning teen social media use and
how to keep your kids safe! The meeting
will be held in the Noblesville West
Middle School LGI Room on March 21 at
6:00 pm.
ISTEP+ April 17 – April 20
Our second round
of ISTEP+ will begin
on Tuesday, April
17 and continue
through Friday, April 20. Please try to
avoid appointments during these days to
allow your student the best possible
chance for success on this important test.
Last day of school is June 1!
A reminder that Friday June 1, 2018 is
marked as a flex (weather make-up) day
on our school calendar. Due to the
Wednesday January 24, 2018 school
closure, we will now be using this flex day
and school will now be in session on
Friday, June 1, 2018.

Miller Madness tournament
Student Council is once again sponsoring the
Miller Madness basketball tournament fundraiser!
Miller Madness is a 5 on 5 half-court tournament to
be played March 20-22 after school until 4:30
pm. The winners will play the NEMS staff team during SLT on the
day before Spring Break, Friday, March 23. Information packets
may be picked up in Student Services or rooms 1314 and 1326
through Thursday, March 15. Packets must be returned with
payment by Friday, March 16. Days and times for players will be
displayed on the official bracket in the cafeteria starting Monday,
March 19. All funds raised will go to the Humane Society.
Parent School Safety Forum March 19
Noblesville Schools will be hosting a Parent School Safety Forum
on March 19, 2018 at 7:00 pm in the NEMS cafeteria
in conjunction with the Noblesville Police Department (NPD).
At this forum, Noblesville Schools and the NPD will share
information on school safety procedures and partnerships, best
practices for school safety, mental health outreach, and how to
raise safety concerns. There will also be an opportunity for you to
share your thoughts and ask questions. Please click the following

**March 19 PTO meeting canceled**
Please note that the PTO meeting scheduled for March 19 has
been canceled!
Goodwill Collect & Connect
For every 13 gallon bag of clothing donated
to Goodwill during the month of April,
Noblesville Schools will receive clothing
vouchers to distribute to our families in
need. Take your donation to any Goodwill store and be sure to let
them know your donation is for Noblesville Schools. Thank you for
your support!
Best Buddies Friendship Walk
Please Mark your calendar for the 2018 Best
Buddies Friendship Walk on Sunday, April 22! This
year NEMS and NWMS are teaming up to fundraise,
recruit walkers, and spread the mission and vision
of inclusion and acceptance for people with intellectual and

All-A Celebration (7:30 am) The NJHS is excited to announce that the students of NEMS have
raised $1,400 in just 2 weeks! We are just under $600 away from
April 17-20 our total fundraising goal of $2,000! The campaign ends March
ISTEP+ testing days 16. We appreciate your support!

dependent upon financial need. In middle and high school, Scholars are connected to programs
and resources to help them stay on track for college and career success. Once in college,
scholars receive support to complete their college degrees and connect to career opportunities.
