Students information

Before starting the test, ask students to write their full name on the corresponding line.

Verify also that they copy the group section, the school’s name and CCT that you previously have written on the board. Example:

Exercise: I Skill: Listening Estimated time: 10 minutes

Objective: Identifies the order of steps to be followed in a sequence.

Instructor’s role:

- Read the instructions clearly.

- Read the information twice with a clear tone of voice; emphasize the number then the sentence.

Spells words.

Instructor’s role:
⁻ Select a student randomly. This part of the exam must be applied individually.

⁻ Greet the student and tell him/her that he/she will spell 5 words as if participating in a spelling bee contest. Make sure the
student understands that he/she will listen to the word, repeat the word, spell it and then say the word again.

⁻ Provide an example by spelling the word: crossword, start by saying the word, then spell it and finally say the word again.

⁻ The words you must pronounce are: sequence, puzzle, hangman, game and instructions. The student will be able to request
for the repetition of the word if necessary.

⁻ Repeat the task until every student has answered.

⁻ Use the speaking scoring sheet to register the results.
