Hello, and thank you for welcoming me into your students’

classroom!

My name is Carissa Blair, and I am entering the student

teaching phase of my educational career. I am a student
at Saint Francis University majoring in Early Childhood and
Special Education with minors in American Sign Language,
Ethics, and Science, Technology and Society.

Away from school and work, I enjoy reading, crafting,

movies, and spending time with my friends and family.

During my time in the classroom I hope to develop a

relationship based on mutual respect and open
communication with the students and staff. With this
relationship, I hope to grow as a teacher, becoming more
adept at the paperwork and logistical side of the job, as
well as presenting material in a way in which students can
effectively learn.

I will be working with Mrs. Fortney until March 9th, and I look
forward to every day that I will spend in the classroom.
