FITTDJGS, FLARXLESS, FLUID CONNFGTION

(SHIR?OARU USE)

Specification MIL-F-21~67D(SHIPS)was canceled by Notice-1 dated 8 August

1974. Future procurement for flareless fittings which may be required for
maintenance and overhaul shall be made in accordance with the requirements for
class 2, flareless fittings only, as specified in Military Specification
MIL-F-l8866, Fittings, Hydraulic Tube, Flared, 37 Degree and Flareless; Steel.
Flared fittings shall not be used as a replacement for flareless fittings.

(Copies of specifications,standards, drawings, and publications required

by suppliers in connection with specific procurement functions should be ob-
tained from the procuring activity or as directed by the contracting officer.)
