TITLE: LET’S END MALNUTRITION TODAY!

LOCATION: Brgy. Km. 14 San Isidro Sorsogon City

PURPOSE:

 To educate the community about proper sanitation, proper exercise

and proper diet.
 To inform the community about malnutrition.

PROBLEM: Malnutrition

PROPOSED SOLUTION:

 Create a program for parents and children (includes feeding

program and seminar);
 proper information dissemination (e.g. posters which informs the
causes and effects);
 Education about proper sanitation.

STEPS INVOLVED: The program includes:

 Introduction to malnutrition
 Proper sanitation
 Proper exercise and diet

CONCLUSION:

 Educating the community will give them knowledge to prevent

malnutrition however, the response of the community to the program
made will define the success of the proposed solution. Therefore,
cooperation and discipline is needed.
 EVENT ORGANIZING

TITLE: SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT IN BRGY. KM. 14 SAN ISIDRO

SORSOGON CITY

LOCATION: Brgy. Km. 14 San Isidro Sorsogon City

PURPOSE:

 To educate the community about solid waste management and how

improper garbage segregation affects the community and its
environment;
 To help the community to keep the environment safe and clean.

PROBLEM: No garbage collection and segregation

PROPOSED SOLUTION:

 Conduct lecture about solid waste management

 Create training and activity, exposing the community to proper way of
segregating garbage.

STEPS INVOLVED:

 Cooperate with the barangay officials and the community.

 Prepare the venue of the event.
 Start the seminar with a short program.
 Introduction of Solid waste management.
 Conduct training and activity about proper garbage segregation and
disposal.

CONCLUSION:

 Giving the community the knowledge about solid waste management

will help them keep the environment clean and the barangay a safe
place to stay. The cooperation of each and every one in the barangay
will be a big help to make the event a success. Also the success of
the program that was made will be defined by the way the community
will follow it
 PROJECT DEVELOPMENT

TITLE: SAN ISIDRO WATER SYSTEM REHABILITATION

LOCATION: Brgy. Km. 14 San Isidro Sorsogon City

PURPOSE:

 To recommend the rehabilitation of the water source piping system.

 To analyze the recommended piping system in terms of feasibility
 To evaluate whether the suggested system is cost effective or not.
 To resolve the lack of water supply in some areas in the barangay.

PROBLEM:

 Some areas in the barangay suffer water shortage due to

irresponsible management and maintenance piping system of the
water source. This problem gives headache to the people who were
deprived from the supply of water.

PROPOSED SOLUTION:

 This project development will identify the cause of water shortage; will
provide ways in the rehabilitation of the water piping system; will
propose a reconstruction and redesigning of the piping system.

CONCLUSION:

 The rehabilitation of the piping system of the barangay will give the
households who suffered from lack of water supply- the free water for
their consumption which is very helpful for their everyday living. The
community will feel comfortable and will feel free to use water,
Maintenance of the piping system is a must in order not to suffer the
same situation again.
 PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

TITLE: RECYCLED PLASTIC WRAPPERS

LOCATION: Brgy. Km. 14 San Isidro Sorsogon City

PURPOSE:

 To alleviate pollution.
 To provide extra income to the residents

PROBLEM: Plastic wrappers (such as food packaging) are not properly

disposed and segregated.

PROPOSED SOLUTION:

 Plastic wrappers will be recycled and transformed into a more useful

product such as bags, slippers, home decoration and accessories

STEPS INVOLVED:

 Collection of plastic wrappers

 Plastic wrappers are processed for recycling.
 Transformation into useful products (such as bags, slippers, home
decoration and accessories)

CONCLUSION:

 Recycling plastic wrappers will help lessen its effect in the

environment since it is not easily degraded. The outcome of recycling
plastic wrappers will not only help alleviate pollution but it also give
new purpose to plastics wrappers. This proposal will also help the
residents to earn extra income by selling the products developed.
 ASSESSMENT

PURPOSE:

PROBLEM: Lack of Solid waste management practice

PROPOSED SOLUTION:

 This assessment will provide ways to segregate wastes, to produce

less waste and better manage of unavoidable waste, which will
conserve natural resources and reduce disposal costs.

CONCLUSION:

 This research will help the barangay to manage its waste and will
educate the community about proper waste segregation and disposal.
This research will also help to protect the environment and the people
of the barangay.
