Introduction (warmer activity + teacher introduction/demonstration of small group activities)
Time: 15 min

The student will read a story and from the story they will get out the words with the I vowel and
after that I will write the words on the board and let the students break and blend the word.
Whole

Independent Experience (high level group activity 1)

Students will get a worksheet and they will have a box and inside the box different words with the
vowel I and they will drop this words to the write picture.
Independent Experience (medium level group activity 2)

Student will fill the missing vowel letter in each word according to the pictures
Time: 15 min

Independent Experience (low level group activity 3)

Students will have the words with the I vowel and the pictures in the other side on the worksheet

and it will be random and they have to match each word with the write picture.

I will hang flash card that have the picture and the students have to write the word and break and

blend the word to get the write pronunciation.
