Teach students the sound of the letter (d) and how to write it.

I will use with the students a repetition strategy, for example, I will say the letter (d), the sound of it
several times to students repeat after me and give them an opportunity to write the letter.

- Ball - Dinosaur
I will introduce the lesson by telling a story about letter D- which is about Disney land, and the
boy who called Dan, and he will meet in the story dolphin, doll and dinosaur. After the story
telling, I will ask the students questions about the story and what they notice about each word
Time: 10 min
and with what start, and how they can write the letter D/d, show them the capital letter and the
lowercase d.
Whole
- I will play with them a game which is about the hidden picture that start with letter D.
First of all, I will show them letter D then a part of the picture, if they did not know the
picture I will show them the other half tell they know the word.
The hidden pictures is (duck- Dolphin-Dinosaur)
- After that game I will throw the ball to the students and who can catch the ball, they
will give me a word that start with letter D.
- Students will find the pictures that start with letter D, and they will make letter D by
pictures.
- Students will have a worksheet that has 5 different pictures and they have to color the
picture that start with the letter D.
Time: 20 min
- Students will color letter D to find the way that helps the dinosaur to eat.

In the end of the lesson I will gave each student a white bored and marker, then I will let them to
write or draw what they learn in this lesson, so I can check if they understanding the lesson or
not.

- Observe students during the activities and ask them questions with taking notes based on their
