TOPLINETM - Side In/Bottom Out

From design to construction TOPLINE is simply the best single bag
vessel for high efficiency filtration. Because of its “over the top” entry
sealing system the vessel can be used even in applications demand-
ing absolute filtration with no worry about by-pass. Standard features
include ASME code UM stamp, investment cast components, open
dome design for low pressure drop, stainless steel perf. basket,
hinged swing bolt cover, Buna-N O-ring seals, 150 psi pressure rating
and adjustable mounting legs (304 legs for 316 SS version, zinc
plated CS for CS version). All TOPLINE vessels come with Eaton’s
extended 5 year warranty.

A heavy duty, cost effective vessel for demanding industrial
and commercial applications with very good sealing capa-
bilities. The special swing bolt cover allows 4 different
opening positions, simplifying installation. Standard fea-
tures include ASME code UM stamp, investment cast com-
ponents, evacuation cover, stainless steel perf. baskets, a
choice of 2” or 3” ANSI flange connections, a 150 psi pres-
sure rating and zinc plated legs. All SIDELINE vessels

A light weight, fabricated vessel with very good sealing capabilities that meets the demands of most filtra-
tion applications where an ASME code stamp is not required. Features include a four position swing bolt
investment cast cover with a concave design for easy bag change-outs, Buna-N O-rings, stainless steel

FLOWLINE-Inline vessels are built for applications where it is more convenient to have the vessel installed
in line with offset connections opposite each other. “In-Line” vessels offer a 2” side inlet, 2” opposite side

POLYLINE™
All plastic polypropylene construction stands up to the most aggressive chemical applications. Rated at a full 150
psi the POLYLINE has no metal parts to rust, corrode or contaminate the process fluid. This one piece molded
body features an extremely smooth Interior surface with no crevices to trap the process media. Rock solid installa-
tion is assured by the integral, molded mounting flange without the need for extra support legs. The vessel is easily
adapted to either in line or loop piping arrangements. Bag change out is quick and easy with the POLYLINE spin
off cover.

POLYLINE™ Duplex
For continuous duty or batch process applications. The system flow does not have to be interrupted for filter bag
change out. A quick turn of the operating lever diverts the flow from one vessel to the other so that the filter bag
can be changed. Valve switching assembly is CPVC on all models.

MODULINETM Bag Filter Vessels

Two, size 02 (double length), filter vessels connected with a flanged “T” assembly that permits
the flow to go through both vessels, simultaneously with a single inlet and outlet confection. “T”
assemblies are the same material of construction as the filter vessels. All MODULINE vessels
come with ANSI flanged 150# connections. The standard flange gasket is Blueguard 3000 and all
hardware is zinc plated carbon steel. For additional connected vessels to accommodate higher

DUOLINETM Duplex Bag Filter Vessels

For applications where the system flow cannot be shut down for filter bag change out. Either a
butterfly or ball valve assembly is used to divert the flow between the two vessels so the iso-
lated, out of service vessel can be serviced. The flow is never shut down. An internal linkage
assembly is available for MODULINE vessels with butterfly valves that permits operation of the
valves with a single handle. Orientation of the inlet and outlet connections must be specified,

SE-MAXILINE™ (QIC-LOCK™ Opening Cover with Spring Assist Hinge)

The SE MAXILINE vessel defines the state of the art for multi-bag vessels. The operator’s safety
and ease of bag change out were considered paramount in its design. A low profile design means
the top of the bag is at about waist height for most operators— thus providing a more ergonomic
position for lifting dirty bags out of the vessel. The SE-MAXILINE’S unique quick opening spindle
closure mechanism provides for a 20 second opening— without tools. The integral vent valve
mechanism protects the operator by preventing the opening of the vessel without first venting the
pressure. Finally, the spring assisted hinge makes lifting the lid easy and safe. All vessels are con-
structed of 316 stainless steel, have a bead blasted finish and carry an ASME “U” code stamp. The
SE is pressure rated to150 psi.

HE-MAXILINETM (Swing Bolt Cover with Spring Assist Hinge)

The HE-MAXILINE sets the standard for safety and ease of use in swing-bolt closure filter ves-
sels. Incorporating the same low profile design as our state-of-the-art SE vessels, the HE is built
close to the floor, meaning less strain on the operator when it is time to change filter bags. The
spring assisted hinge makes lifting the lid easy and individual bag hold-downs are provided for
excellent sealing. Features include , electro-polished perforated baskets, a bead blasted finish,
and an ASME “U”code stamp. The HE is available both in 316 Stainless Steel or Carbon Steel
construction and is rated to 150 psi.

The HD-MAXILINE Multi bag vessels feature a cost effective, handwheel operated, davit
cover. Loosen the swing bolts, turn the davit handwheel and swing the cover aside. Individual
bag hold-downs provide excellent sealing. Features include , electro-polished perforated bas-
kets, an ASME “U” code stamp, and a bead blasted finish. The side entry design with a low
profile, tangential outlet makes bag change-out easy. The HD is available in both 304

With this new, patent pending filter element, Eaton technology has combined the best of both bag and
cartridge filters into one single filtration element for outstanding filtration performance. Because the surface area of a HAYFLOW
Filter Element is up to 70% greater than a similar size filter bag, existing systems that use it will experience longer filter element
life and less changing, resulting in reduced operation costs. With HAYFLOW, designers of new bag filtration systems can opt for
reduced operating costs or, because of the high flow rates possible with HAYFLOW, reduce the size of the filter vessel by up to
50% and lower the initial cost of the system. Standard, double length, 02 size filter vessels can be easily retrofitted to use the
HAYFLOW Element with the installation of a special restrainer basket. No tools or modifications to the vessel are required.

The following LOFCLEAR bags were developed for the filtration of coatings in the automotive industry. These bags
securely remove silicone oil and other crater causing substances traces from coatings while allowing pigments to
pass through.
LCR-118/128 are designed for e-coat applications at flow-rates no higher than 45 gpm/size 01 and 90 gpm/size 02.
LCR-119/129 are designed for e-coat applications with higher flow rates up to 60 gpm/size 01 and 120 gpm/size 02.
LCR-130 extended life bags are designed for extra adsorption capacity and high amounts of oil at 90 gpm/size 02.
LCR-135 bags deliver high removal of particulate and oils from clear coat where pigment removal is not an issue,

Oil Absorption Insert

The Eaton Absorption Insert is the ultimate solution for increased oil removal capacity, made of meltblown polypro-
pylene with a spun bound cover and a polypropylene extruded core for support. The insert can be installed in most
standard size 02 filter bags with SNAP-RING and SENTINEL ring collars. This insert increases dirt and oil removal
capacity. It will not fit into PGF, LCR-500 or LCR-130. It is necessary to equip these inserts with a stainless steel
cover plate for optimal efficiency and capacity. For an easier fit and removal of the insert, the use of an Eaton
straight-sided perforated plate basket (without the indent) is highly recommended.

All the information necessary to understand a Eaton housing description code is listed below. The exam-
ple description listed, a D-MBF-0402-AS10-040A-UT-11SEN-M is for a Duplex MAXILINE™, 4 bag ves-
sel for 7” X 32” bags, constructed of 316L stainless steel, rated at 150 psi, with 4” ANSI flange inlet/
outlets. It carries an ASME Code “U” Stamp and has a Tangential Outlet. The vessel has a glass bead-
blasted finish both inside and outside, has a QIC-LOCK® spindle type quick closure, a spring assisted lid
lifting hinge, does not have a heating jacket and is a “special” design.
