ARS 4083 Individual Assignment 1 (Tut Wk 2, 3, 4)

Topic: Analyzing a Global Company.

Each of the students will be given a global company which
he/she will need to investigate some information that should
be sourced from the website. The information needed are as
follows;

1. Where is the company’s Head Quarters, name all the

countries in the world in which they operated, and the number
of branches they have in each country.
2. Who is the owner or initiator/starter of the business, when
and how the business started
3. What form of business they are operating? What are the
main products/services they are selling?
4. What are the criteria they used in choosing which country to
operate? If they operated in Malaysia, why they choose
Malaysia, and if not, why they don’t operate in Malaysia?
5. What is your opinion on the company’s performance in the
near future? Will they be better, maintain or closed down?
Justify your opinion.

Each student need to submit the assignment in powerpoint

format (5-10) for the content part, and presented in a video
format (VLC) about five minutes. All theses need to be
submitted in a CD. Student is responsible to ensure the CD is
accessible.
Marks will be given on the content (ppt), creativity, interesting
presentation, and participation in the presentation.

Dateline to submit L1 and L2 15/3/18; latest by 4pm, sent to my

office.
