My training comes from other sources so I don't know how to answer these questions.
As a new employee I have found the hardest adjustment to make has been a lack of orientation regarding
expectations ranging from filling out time cards (how much info should be included, proper procedures for
requesting time off, etc) and billing logs, not knowing who to specifically go to, to ask for help (front office
staff has been incredibly helpful), lack of expectations for duties other than those directly related to
position.
Would like some additional training on programs we use such as Excel, PowerPoint, Google Docs, etc.

This is based on Brenda as supervisor. Haven't had enough interaction with Matt as supervisor yet.
I look forward to working with Brenda as the Administrator. I believe her caring attitude and ability to listen will
move the ESU is a much for positive place.
Have not had a job performance evaluation yet, though I do get good feedback.

I cannot put a price tag on the flexibility this job allows me to have. I have no complaints about dollar
compensation, because I am very fortunate and appreciate of being able afforded the opportunities to
work from home when need be, not be micromanaged, and being overall family friendly. I could not work if

I truly enjoy working with the staff at the school districts that we serve. I feel that the change in administrators
immediately created a much positive environment to work in.

An overall toxic work environment - many of the above choices combined into one would drive me away
from ESU5. But, my position affords me the opportunity to avoid/isolate from some of it.

I think we need to grow our distance science. There have been many discussions, but the trouble is getting from point A to point B and the money issue.
Open communication about budgeting would be helpful. As ESU defines goals and objectives we will start to see a focus and a future.
People are either overworked and can't do more or don't want to work hard - it's hard think about future program and services with that...
I think it would be great to have two full-time service providers and divide the caseload and travel time between the two providers.
I would like to see us become a much stronger leader and provider of opportunities in the areas of: college and career readiness and high ability learner
students.
