INTRODUCTION
JOHN PAUL: Good evening, ladies and gentlemen! Good evening, Marian.

MARIAN: Good evening, too, Paul! You look so stunning tonight.

JOHN PAUL: Thank you and I can return the favor to you right away, for you look so gorgeous in time for this
occasion.

MARIAN: Well…. There are one hundred and one reasons of getting dressed up elegantly and ravishingly
tonight.

JOHN PAUL: Tonight is one of the highlights of INHS co-curricular events in the pantheon of social graces &
gregariousness!

BOTH: WELCOME TO THE PROMENADE 2018

JOHN PAUL: The much-awaited social gathering of the senior high school students.

MARIAN: And without further ado, to kick the ball rolling, let’s witness the grand entrance of senior high
school students as they take a walk of fame. Let’s give them a resonating applause

LUPANG HINIRANG & PRAYER

JOHN PAUL: To formally commence this event, please rise and imbibe among ourselves the virtue of
nationalism & patriotism. Let us sing the Philippine National Anthem together with the sound
system.
MARIAN: Please remain standing and feel a few moments of solemnity for an invocation to be led by
Allie Rose Lequip.
MARIAN: Thank you. You may now be seated.
JOHN PAUL: High school life is a roller coaster ride. It is the period of exploring the unknown, a time of
shaping one’s true identity and the stage of building bonds and friendships.

MARIAN: Tonight, another milestone is about to unfold in our lives as we take part in one of the most
awaited moments in high school, the Senior High School Promenade.

WORDS OF WELCOME
JOHN PAUL: And to formally welcome us in this big event, let’s lend our ears to Jhayvon Darylle B. Gordon,
class president of Grade 11 for his words of welcome. Let’s give him a big, big hand.

MARIAN: Thank you very much Jhayvon for your warm welcome to all the attendees tonight. May your
words of wisdom be our moving spirit as we enjoy the night.

BEQUEATHAL CEREMONY
JOHN PAUL: Symbols of responsibilities will be passed to the next deserving successors. To lead the school
even better, they must be prepared to the responsibilities that they jump out of them.
MARIAN: This time, we will have the bequeathal ceremony.
(bequeathal ceremony)
MARIAN: Thank you very much.
CLASS WILL AND TESTAMENT
JOHN PAUL: One wouldn’t normally give personages’ talents and skills. However, successors must be
recognized so that these God-given talents will till push the school to the greater heights.
MARIAN: With this, may we call in, Andrei John O. Candano and Christene Joana Tamondez to do
the honors.
MARIAN: Thank you Andrei and Christine.

CANDLE-LEI CEREMONY
JOHN PAUL: Let’s keep the fire burning. No Prom is considered memorable in the absence of candle-lei
ceremony. Such ceremony symbolizes the hand-over of the candles to the next bearers so as to
lead & guide our school and its stakeholders in reaching their dreams and aspirations.

MARIAN: The flame atop of every paraffin elucidates the road to success of the Grade 12 in the next
chapter of their academic career. The lei symbolizes honor and appreciation that the Grade 11
will give to the Grade 12.
JOHN PAUL: At this point, let’s move onward and go forward to the Candle-Lei Ceremony. We would like to
call in Mr. Dhanie A. Diana and Mrs. Marivic T. Soriano, Senior High School advises to facilitate
the ceremony. Let’s give them a warm round of applause.

(candle-lei ceremony)

JOHN PAUL: Thank you very much. I am keeping my fingers crossed that we will be successful in whatever
chosen field to be undertaken in the near future.

MARIAN: And to my fellow Grade 11, may we fulfill our noble obligations to our school in general and to
our fellow schoolmates in particular for the next academic year.

DINNER
MARIAN: At this point in time, I am quite sure that everyone is excited to get the taste of
luscious & sumptuous food prepared for all of us. Let us pause for a while for moment of prayer
before we savor our meal together.
(prayer)

JOHN PAUL: Now, let’s enjoy the food in observance of the table etiquette as usual. Happy Eating, everyone!

CLASS PROPHECY
JOHN PAUL: Predicting outcomes of our future success is a joy to do but there is one effective way to find
out! Let our Class Prophet take her course in giving her fearless predictions and formidable
forecasts not based on Chinese astrology or tarot cards but merely on the ambitions & career
paths of my dear classmates.

MARIAN: Sounds great, Paul. And to interpret the vibrations not from magic crystal ball but from the sheer
guts and will power of the Grade 12, may we request the presence of Genevieve Sumugat
for the reading of the Grade 12’ Class Prophecy.

JOHN PAUL: Thank you, Genevieve for such eloquence to deliver the contents of our Prophecy. I have
nothing to say with regard to that but “Good Luck to all of us….and so be it!”

MARIAN: Your road to success will always be under construction. But, with your innate aptitude coupled
with great attitude, you can shape up your altitude with accuracy & fondness.

MESSAGE – MRS. PETRONILA B. LACUROM

JOHN PAUL: This time, let’s give our sweetest gesture as we call in our dear School Principal, Mrs. Petronila
B. Lacurom. Let’s listen for us to be moved by her inspiring words. A round of applause, ladies
and gentlemen.

MARIAN: Thank you, ma’am for such inspiring words.

SINGING
MARIAN: A friend is a gift to each one of us. Can be a friend to everyone?
JOHN PAUL: Surely, you can be! But you know what, there’s a gift of quite blessing only friendship can
impart.
MARIAN: In that case, I strongly agree with you. A friend shared memento with gentle hands, kind words
and caring hearts.
JOHN PAUL: Now, let our hearts be filled with the spirit of togetherness. Unleash everyone’s melodious souls,
as the Grade 11 and Grade 12 render their meaningful songs. Ladies and gentlemen, let’s
welcome the Grade 11. A round of applause, everyone.

MARIAN: This time, let’s welcome the Grade 12 with resonating applause.

MARIAN: Thank you. We can be a good friend to everyone, we can love you until the end.

2018

MARIAN: Please come up the stage. (names of the nominees will be called)

Miss Dolores N. Dotimas. Let’s give her a round of applause.

MARIAN: saying, let’s enjoy the rest of the night and let’s all have a good night.

JOHN PAUL: and let’s all have a good night.
