Working Paper for Story Telling Competition

Time : 2:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Venue : School Resource Room

1. Objectives :-
i. To enhance pupils’ confidence in using English.
ii. To give pupils the opportunity to use English in an interesting, authentic
and a creative manner.
iii. To enhance and improve pupils’ listening and speaking skills.
iv. To instill pupils’ interest in reading and writing in English.

2. The time allocated for the story telling is 4-5 minutes.

3. The judges are divided into two section and subdivided into three categories:

Section1 (Prepaid):

i. Language and proficiency (35%) – Mdm. Wong Ik Ming

ii. Presentation/ Delivery (20%) – Mr. Kok Liang Teck
iii. Theme/Storyline (10%) – Miss Yiu Sing Lung

Section2 (Impromptu):

i. Language and proficiency (15%) – Mdm. Wong Ik Ming

ii. Presentation/ Delivery (10%) – Mr. Kok Liang Teck
iii. Theme/Storyline (5%) – Miss Yiu Sing Lung
