2.4 Drilling the Anchor Holes for the Table

 A total of 6 holes must be drilled to anchor the table.

 The table drilling template is packed along with the tabletop.

n Align the drilling template according to the room plan. When doing this, the reference
point of the drilling template ( Fig. 22 Page 22) must be lined up with the orienta‐

n Based on the drilling template, mark the 5 holes ( pos1/Fig. 22 Page 22) and the hole
( pos2/Fig. 22 Page 22) on the left or the hole ( pos3/Fig. 22 Page 22) on the right
side, depending on the installation. Drill the 12-mm diameter holes for the table. In
the same way, mark the 4 holes for the Bucky wall stand depending on the layout us‐
ing the drilling template (according to the customer order to select the drilling loca‐
tion of the BWS SID using the BWS template) ( Fig. 23 Page 22). Once the BWS is
centered, the holes for the BWS can be drilled.

4.1 Installing the Single-tank Tube Unit

Fig. 98: Installation of the tube

n Remove the cross arm cover ( pos2/Fig. 98 Page 70) and remove the locking screw
( pos4/Fig. 98 Page 70) for ±120° locking.
n Rotate the cross arm flange ( pos3/Fig. 98 Page 70) 180° as shown in
( pos5/Fig. 98 Page 70). The profile of the tank unit flange ( pos6/Fig. 98 Page 70)
matches the cross arm flange ( pos5/Fig. 98 Page 70).
n Place the single tank on the tabletop as shown in ( pos1/Fig. 98 Page 70).
n Position the single-tank tube unit ( pos1/Fig. 98 Page 70) in front of the cross arm
flange ( pos3/Fig. 98 Page 70).
n Install the single-tank tube unit ( pos1/Fig. 98 Page 70) on the cross arm with four
M6 screws ( pos2/Fig. 99 Page 71) and tighten them to the specified torque value
(hardware is provided in the single-tank tube carton).
T n
Tighten the four screws to a torque of 10 N.
Loctite 221 must be applied to the four screws.
n If the tube unit flange ( pos1/Fig. 99 Page 71) is not installed on the single-tank
tube unit ( pos1/Fig. 98 Page 70), then install it on the tube unit flange using four
M6 screws, four beveled washers and four plate washers ( pos3/Fig. 99 Page 71),
T and tighten it to a torque of 10 N (hardware provided along with the generator).
When doing this, make sure that the high beveled washers are installed at the bottom
and the flat shims are installed at the top of the tube unit flange. The round part of the
washers must point towards the flange.

n Check the single-tank tube unit that it is centered in the longitudinal and transverse
directions after startup. For this refer to the chapter - Adjusting the Deviation of the
Central Beam in the startup instructions.

After installing the collimator and completing the electrical connections in the cross arm,

4.4 Routing the Cables to the Stand

NOTICE
The cable length between the cross arm and the cable loop must be selected so
that movement over the complete movement path and simultaneous rotation of
the support arm on the vertical axis (90°) is possible without pinching the cables,
or subjecting them to tension or scraping along an edge.

n Guide the cables forward from the top cable guide assembly on the column
( pos1/Fig. 110 Page 77) on the cable bracket on the top LHS
( pos2/Fig. 110 Page 77) and secure them temporarily.
n If this is the right-hand version, the top cable guide assembly
( pos1/Fig. 110 Page 77) is on the left side, and cable bracket on the top LHS
( pos2/Fig. 110 Page 77) is different for the right-hand version. Refer to the section
on changing the cable routing for the right-hand version.
n From there, guide the cables to the tube unit.
When doing this, make sure that the cables go by the right side of the tube unit arm as
viewed by the operator.

4.9 Installing the Angled Plate

The tank cable guide is installed behind the collimator on the bottom of the single-tank
tube unit.

 The cables connected to the single tank are secured to the tank cable guide so that
the shielding is not mechanically strained when rotating the single tank tube unit.
The column interface cable and cross arm interface cable routed through the single tank
tube are not secured to the tank cable guide.

n Secure the tank cable guide ( pos2/Fig. 125 Page 87) with Allen bolts
( pos3/Fig. 125 Page 87) on the tube unit.

n The inverter cable ( pos1/Fig. 125 Page 87) is routed on the left and secured with a
cable tie.
When doing this, make sure that the cable does not get pinched or subjected to strain
when there is rotation.
