PROBLEM BACKGROUND

As per literature lot of work has been carried out in the area of
Processing and Analyzing the performance and emission characteristics of
biodiesel by using various vegetable oil resources. Most of the Authors
concentrated on the vegetable oils like “UVO-Used Vegetable Oils”
[Muralimanohar.R et al (2014)], ”Karanj Oil” [Avinashkumar Agarwal et al
(2013)], “Cotton seed oil” [Vinukumar.K (2013)], “Rubber seed oil” [Jolius

utilizing the raw Bio oil from xxxx seeds for running his low speed 5 HP
Agricultural Engine to supplying water to his 5 Acre land for the past four years
without any engine problem and modifications is a igniting spark for us to enter
in to this research work of Processing and Analyzing the Performance and
Emission characteristics of punnai oil based bio diesel. He is from. “The Hindu”
Article exposed his experience and we followed that to find the suitability of
xxxxxxxx as an equivalent substitute for Pure Diesel.
