Industrial Exhibition and National Seminar on University-Industry Partnerships concludes at

Jagan Nath University, Haryana

Jagan Nath University, Haryana organized two days Industrial Exhibition and National Seminar on
University-Industry Partnerships on March 22-23, 2018. The exhibition attracted 40 different stalls
from various industries including Agriculture, Food Processing, Construction Materials,
Automobiles, Rural and Small Enterprises, along with stalls from various departments of the
University like Engineering, Legal Aid, Health and Physiotherapy Science, Journalism,
Management, Education, Agriculture and Architecture.

The exhibition was inaugurated by Sh. O. P. Dhankar, Agriculture Minister, Government of


Haryana. The students of Jyoti School presented Haryanvi folk cultural program. The exhibition
was attended by a large number of farmers, entrepreneurs, small scale rural enterprises besides
students from various Polytechnic and Engineering Colleges. Many of the products depicted in the
stalls generated lot of the inquiries and visitors also enquired about the courses.
The purpose of Industrial Exhibition was to create awareness among rural, urban and institutional
communities about the emerging trends in science and technology and industrial evolution that our
country is witnessing in appreciation of the Hon’ble Prime Minister major drive on Skill
Development and ‘Make in India’ programs and for clean, green and self reliant nation to be an
industrial power to reckon with. There was an overwhelming response from the industry and
visitors to the exhibition and the seminar.

Prof. H.L. Verma, Vice Chancellor and Prof. R.K. Behl, Dean, Faculty of Agriculture Sciences
proposed vote of thanks to all the industry representatives, entrepreneurs and students and
distributed prizes and Certificates of Appreciation for their active participation.
