How to play
The players begin waiting in a lobby. In the lobby, the world has the same game
mechanics as during the match, except that you cannot destroy the terrain and
buildings nor harm players. You may scavenge bandages, traps, weapons, and
resources but you won't be able to use the traps or aid. However, if you obtain
resources in the pre-game lobby, you are able to build objects with that resource,
but you are still unable to do damage to the buildings or remove them after they
are placed.

For new players, this can be an opportunity to experiment with guns. After a short
amount of time, the bus starts and players are teleported in it, ready to jump out.
To jump, press the jump button (default: space) and then jump button again to
deploy the glider. Note that you should not open the glider right away but instead
take advantage of the greater speed you have while it is not open. Find the best
location for your avatar to land and steer the glider there. Start collecting
resources, plan and prepare for battle by observing the position of the Storm.
Supply drops can also drop randomly around the map, containing rare loot.

Players should mind the Bushes, either they can hide in them themselves or watch
out for snipers.

Etiquette
Some standards of gameplay etiquette (or "rules") apply while playing Battle
Royale:

Don't cheat
Don't AFK, meaning to go "away from keyboard" or otherwise become inactive during a
match
Don't exploit bugs or glitches
Don't team up, with the exception of Duo/Squad modes

Weapons
Main article: Battle Royale Weapons
When starting out, all players spawn with a Pickaxe. In a pinch the Pickaxe can be
used in combat, but its short range and low damage (only 10 per hit) make it
ineffective for most encounters with other players. It is best suited for breaking
objects to obtain Materials. In order to obtain other weapons that are better
suited towards combat, players must find them in treasure chests, supply drops, on
the ground in the world, or by killing other players.

Battle Royale shares some weapon types with Save the World, though some Battle
Royale versions look different and have different stats from their Save the World
counterparts.

Rarity
Main article: Rarity
Battle Royale shares the same rarity values as Save the World. The rarity of an
item roughly indicates how hard it is to find as well as how much benefit it offers
the player for example, higher rarity weapons tend to have higher damage values
but are harder to find.

Rarities are commonly referred to by their colors rather than their names in the
Battle Royale community.

List of Rarity Values

Common - White/Gray
Uncommon - Green
Rare - Blue
Epic - Purple
Legendary - Orange

Accuracy Information
The Accuracy of most guns (except sniper rifles and explosive weapons) is based on
hitscan rather than projectiles, making all shots instantaneous because of no
travel time.
Instead of projectile drop on these weapons, there is a damage drop off at long
range. Shots will still land instantaneously, but they will do decreased damage
beyond their designated range.
The developers have said that they are working on making actual projectiles for all
gun types, however this is still in testing and has not yet been implemented.
