Communcation Technology (ICT) and would love to further my interest by working in an
ICT apprenticeship.

Employment and Work Experience:


I.T. support worker during a work experience placement at Bournemouth
Borough Council within their IT department. February 2017, duration 1 week.
 By working as part of a team of IT technicians, I helped in the detailed disconnection
of an old IT network.
 I gained experience of IT support and maintenance that occurs with users via the
telephone.
 I also checked to see if desk telephones were working and helped set up and deliver
mobile phones to workers.

 I deliver food to customers, and confidently deal with any issues they may have
with their food. I also clear and clean all the tables and clean the toilets, and
support in general service maintenance.

 In this placement, I followed specific instructions to deliver different papers to
specific houses. I always ensured the papers were delivered to the correct houses
either before or during the specific delivery time. The early start time at 6am meant
that I developed reliable time-keeping skills.

Personal Qualities
I have a technical mind and I like figuring out how different technologies function..
By completing my level 2 EVIT course this year, along with all the associated coursework, I
have proven that I am very determined and can persevere with hard tasks. I believe I’m
very honest and reliable, and I am eager to learn new skills when the opportunities arise. I
have successfully used my communications skills in my college course, and in all of my
employment and work experience so far. I am very happy being flexible and enjoy doing
different tasks if needed. I also love solving problems, particularly those in ICT.

My Future Objectives
 To obtain an apprenticeship within the field of IT.
 As soon as I’m able to, I would like to become an IT technician. This is because I
thoroughly enjoy working with and fixing issues on computers,

Hobbies
 I like to make videos for my YouTube channel.
 I am a member of the Explorers group, “Poole Dragons”, which I attend once a
week.
 I like to watch movies with the family and I enjoy going to town with my friends. I
like listening to a large variety of different music.
