Pedestal

1. After the construction of the pier cap, the location of the pedestal on pier
cap is marked as per drawings.
2. Reinforcement is fixed. Shuttering is fixed and concreting is done.
3. The top level of the pedestal on which bearing is going to rest has to be
true horizontal.

Bearing

1. The bearings are shifted to the constructed site.

2. The bearings are aligned and leveled.
3. The level and alignment of the bearing have to checked.
4. After inspection, grouting is done.
