The Governmental Structure of South Africa

A Brief History of the Government System


After the British cam to South Africa, it seemed like nothing went right for the people there. There was
many wars and when trying to create government systems and courts it seemed like no one could agree.
This was due to one group thinking the other group was either over represented or under represented. An
example of this would be between the African American people and white people of South Africa.

However, nowadays the South African government resembles the government of the United States. South
Africa has three branches of government and a president as well. The three branches are the executive,
legislature (parliament), and the judiciary courts.

Executive Branch The President
