CALIBRATING OXYGEN ANALYSER POLYTRON 7000

• The sensor can not be calibrated at zero, because this is set at fabrication. The Zero
calibration tools in the sensor will only do a check of the reading of the sensor, and
not a calibration as such. Ref. page 35 in vendor manual.

• The span can be calibrated with instrument air containing 20,9Vol% oxygen.

To calibrate the analyzer, complete the following steps:

1. Turn the selector valve to SPAN position. Supply span gas (instrument air).
Check measurement.
⇒ If the reading is not as expected; go to paragraph 3
⇒ If the reading is OK; go to paragraph 2

2. Turn the selector valve to Zero position. Supply Zero gas or any other test reference
gas. Check the low point measurement.
⇒ If the reading is not as expected; replace the sensor cell
⇒ If the reading is OK; the calibration check is complete. Turn the selector valve
back to SAMPLE position. No further actions required.

3. View display (value as example)

To access the analyzer menu:

Push the ▼m button until the next view shows up.
