The 24 Mountains (Er Shi Si Shan) is the most important ring on the Chinese Feng Shui Luo Pan. There
are many different types of Luo Pans, but a common ‘ring’ on every Luo Pan will be the 24 Mountain
Ring.
There are generally EIGHT basic directions.

Basic Eight Directions

Each direction is subdivided into 3 Subsectors.
8 x 3 = 24 Directions or 24 Mountains.
