2. ACCOUNTABILITY – each professional is accountable to their every action in regards to patient care.

 Consist both the dynamics of team member interactions and environmental dynamics.

4. COMMUNICATION
 Helpful ways:
o Introduce oneself to the team

o Give and receive feedback from the group

 Modes: written, verbal, body language, unspoken understanding cultural and environmental cues
 Know hierarchy of roles

 Practice of groups working together for a common benefit rather than working in competition.
 Ready compliance in request.

 Quality of being self-assured and confident without being aggressive.
 Physician should be open-minded and accepts opinions of others in the team
