TERMS AND CONDITIONS GOVERNING THE DIGITAL GAME OF KAUN BANEGA CROREPATI

A. TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

The following are the rules and regulations for the digital game of the show Kaun Banega Crorepati (the
“Game”) hosted on the website www.kbc.sonyliv.com (“Website”) by Sony Pictures Networks India
Private Limited (“SPN”). By Registering for the Game, you (“Participant/ You”) signify your assent to these
Terms and Conditions stated below.

1. In order for participating in the Game, Participants have to mandatorily register on the Website
in the manner provided herein below.

How to register:
(a) Online Participation: Participants interested in registering for the Game can directly log onto the
Website. Participants can log in either by using their SonyLIV ID/ Google ID/ Facebook ID. Upon
logging in the Participants will be directed to a page requesting for information including personal
identifiable information for mandatory fields mentioned herein below.
(b) Any other mode as may be decided by SPN in its sole discretion.

2. Mandatory fields shall include: (a) first name (b) last name (c) date of birth (d) e-mail address (e)
gender (f) mobile number
3. Participant shall be solely responsible for his/her own Registration and the consequences of
uploading/publishing them on the Website. The Participants by providing the aforesaid personal
information to SPN hereby agree that SPN shall have the right to share the information so
collected with such other third party as are required for the purpose of any
marketing/promotional activities of SPN and hereby agree that they shall not file any claim against
SPN for sharing such personal information.

4. SPN shall not be responsible or liable for any technical disruption and/or failure/ and/ or any other
difficulties of such nature during the Game, due to which the Participant is unable to log onto the
Website or play the Game.

5. SPN reserves the right to disqualify any Participant(s) from participating in the Game without
assigning any reason. The decision of SPN and/or the Channel in this regard shall be final and
binding upon the Participant(s).

B. GENERAL RULES:
1. Participant must be above the age of 18 years and should be an Indian citizen, residing in India
only. Citizens and/or residents of countries other than India are not eligible to participate in the
Game.
2. Non-conformance by the Participants to any and all the Terms and Conditions shall make such
Participants Registration null and void.
3. Participants shall not post any profanity or abusive comments on the respective Website page. In
the event of any such profanity or abusive comments posted on foregoing pages, such Participants
shall be disqualified forthwith and SPN reserves its rights, in addition to removing such post, to
take a legal action against such Participant/s.
4. By registering for the Game, each Participant agrees to follow these Terms and Conditions and is
deemed bound by any decisions made by SPN in its sole discretion, including any interpretations
of the Terms and Conditions.
5. There is no gratification attached to the Game in any manner whatsoever.
6. The content on the Website, including without limitation, the text, software, scripts, graphics,
photos, sounds, music, videos, interactive features and the like ("Content") and the trademarks,
service marks and logos contained therein ("Marks"), all Entries, are owned by SPN. Content on
the Website is provided to Participant AS IS for Participant’s informational use only and may not
be used, copied, reproduced, distributed, transmitted, broadcast, displayed, sold, licensed, or
otherwise exploited for any other purposes whatsoever without the prior written consent of the
respective owners. Participant agrees not to engage in the use, copying, or distribution of any of
the Content other than expressly permitted herein, including any use, copying, or distribution of
user submissions of third parties obtained through the Website for any purposes whatsoever.
Participant agrees not to circumvent, disable or otherwise interfere with security related features
of the Website or features that prevent or restrict use or copying of any Content or enforce
limitations on use of the Website or the Content therein.
7. Participants shall hold harmless SPN, its divisions, affiliates and subsidiaries, and their respective
agents and representatives, employees or any other person from and against any injury, damage,
harm, loss, death, mental or emotional trauma suffered by the Participants in any manner
whatsoever connected to the Game including the outcome of the Game and waives all rights to
file any application, criminal and/or civil proceedings in any courts or forum in India to claim any
damages or reliefs.
8. SPN is not responsible for any errors or omissions in the terms and conditions contained herein.
All information provided in the Game is provided "As is" without warranty of any kind. SPN makes
no representations and disclaims all express, implied, and statutory warranties of any kind to the
Participant (s) and/or any third party including, without limitation, warranties as to accuracy,
timelines, completeness, merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose.
9. Under no circumstances shall SPN including their directors, employees, officers, affiliates or
subsidiaries, be liable to the Participant (s) and/or any third party for any lost profits or lost
opportunity, indirect, special, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages whatsoever, even if
SPN has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
10. SPN reserves the right to withdraw or discontinue and/or terminate the Game at any stage
without prior notice and without any liability whatsoever to the Participant (s).
11. The decisions of SPN and its representatives shall be final and binding on all aspects of the Game.
12. Your participation in the Game will be deemed as an acceptance of the above stated Terms and
Conditions and Terms of Use of the Website.
13. The Game is void where prohibited by law. All relevant national and local laws apply.
14. SPN has the right to amend (add, delete or modify) the Terms and Conditions/Registration Form
governing the Game, prospectively or retrospectively, at its discretion and without prior notice.
The Participants registering for the Game are required to review these terms regularly to ensure
that they are aware of any changes made.
15. In case Participant is found to be in violation of any and all rules of the Game, SPN reserves the
right to initiate legal proceedings against such person(s).
16. SPN may refuse to give the prize(s) to Participant(s) in the event of his/her fraud, dishonesty or
non-entitlement to participate in the Game under these Terms and Conditions.
17. SPN does not make any commitment, express or implied, to respond to any feedback, suggestion
and, or, queries of the Participants or furnish any reason or explanation for inclusion and, or,
exclusion of any particular submission of the Entry of a Participant at any stage of the Game.
18. The Game shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the applicable laws in India. All
matters with respect to the Game are subject to the jurisdiction of the Courts at Mumbai only.
