Geolog Workbench Service

Value of mudlogging data

• 1 to 10 Gb of time/depth data are collected per well

• A minimal part is utilized in Real-Time

• The rest is recorded and not used

• Meanwhile drilling activity has significant amount of NPT (Non

Productive Time) and Invisible NPT.

WorkBench serivces utilizes key data, continously and quasi-real

time so that the Client can easily do in-depth analysis, quickly
identify root causes and define lesson learnt while drilling

How is the service provided

• Geolog deploys a specialist either on the rig, or at client

premises, or from its local base
• Workbench engineer receives batches of data at given
intervals (daily, every 8 hours…)
• Workbench engineer provides client personnel with required
analysis/reporting/visualizations
• The system can utilize different datasets (Geolog database or
ascii / excel / las files)
• Developing feature: connecting Workbench to Geolog data
transmission and accessing it via WitsML
