Special Needs/Autistic Aide - Hadley Centre - Hadley Junior High 
Provided one-on-one support to a person with a physical disability. Including driving the 
wheelchair, support with her communication software, scribing and personal needs. Practice a 
shared responsibility with the teacher and other aides to provide a positive learning centre for 
students with a range of special needs. Providing an organized, routine schedule for the 
students, including body breaks. 
 
2007 – 2008 
Special Needs/Autistic Aide - Wakefield Elementary School 
To support children with special needs through integration into a classroom setting.  Responsible 
for support in the sensory room, giving visual cues and verbal cues when needed for initiating 
tasks or daily routines.  Working with teachers to find a scheduled routine for the student(s) and 
the classroom.  Providing individual time to students with continual evaluation for changing needs 
as required.

Pre-Kindergarten Program Educator - Wakefield Elementary School 
Coordinate, plan and supervise daily activities including; circle, story time, crafts, centres, gym, 
snack, library and special activities.  Integrating weekly themes.  i.e. animals, pets and seasons

Ontario Rangers Sub Foreman – Ministry of Natural Resources - Moose Lake Ontario 
Supervised and worked alongside 24 young women in Ontario Parks in such projects as, 
clean-up of streams and creating new spawning beds, clearing portages and walking trails, 
assisting in research of species at risk and other wildlife projects. ​
