7. Save all your changes

8. Close the Fiori Launchpad Designer

9. Create a new role ZPCC_FIORI_## for the Fiori Catalog created above
a) Navigate to transaction PFCG

b) Enter ZPCC_FIORI_## within the role field and click the create single role button.

c) Enter a description of your choice

d) Save your role

e) Click the Menu button

f) Click the Insert Node button and select SAP Fiori Tile Catalog i. Hint – need to click the
small arrow button on the right of “transaction” in order to select SAP Fiori Tile
Catalog

g) Use the catalog Provider X-SAP-UI2-CATALOGPAGE

h) User Local Front-End Server

i) Select ZPCC_## under Catalog ID

j) Save your changes

10. Assign the Fiori Catalog to your user ID

a) From within your role in transaction PFCG select the user tab

b) Enter your user ID with a 01/01/YYYY date

c) Save your changes

11. Launch the Fiori Launchpad

12. Add the new tiles to your Fiori Launchpad by clicking the pencil button at the bottom of the
screen
a) Press the + button to add a new tile to your home page

b) *Note – you can create a new group as well

c) Press the back button within the Fiori Launchpad (Not the back button for your
browser

d) Press the pencil icon to come out of change mode

13. Launch the Payroll Manager Tile within the Fiori Launchpad for Monitoring
a) Use the shortcut we just created for the Payroll Control Center Manager

14. Start and complete the Monitoring process for March of the current year
a) Execute the step for Create test payroll data

b) Execute the step for Initiate policies

c) Start and complete the step for Monitoring
