Suklam-Baradharam Vishnum Sashivarnam
Chaturbhujam
Prasanna Vadanam Dhyayet Sarva Vighnopa-Santaye ||

Agajanana padmarkham gajanana maharnisam

Anekadhantam bhaktanam ekadhantam upasmahe

IV. Aachamanam:
Drink water thrice from right hand saying the following
mantras:
 Eim Aatmatatvaaya swaaha
 Kleem Vidyaatatvaaya swaaha
 Sauhu Sivatatvaaya swaaha

Release the water from between middle and ring fingers

of right hand into a plate, reciting the following mantra:

Eim Kleem Sauhu Sarva Tatvebhya Swaaha

V. Praanayamam:
Do 3 cycles reciting gayatri mantra mentally
Breathe in (poorakamu)– hold (kumbhakamu)– release
(rechakamu)– hold (bahirkumbhakamu) ------ 1 cycle -------

VI. Samkalpam:
Take akshatas in right hand, left hand on right thigh, right
hand on left hand.
Mama upattha samastha duritakshaya dwaara sreeman
sreemathaha ---------------- (recite your gothram if you know
otherwise say parasiva gothrodhbhavasya gothrodhbhavasya)
------- naamadeyasya (tell your name) dharmapathni samethasya
------------ (tell your wife name if you are married otherwise skip
this name )naamadeyavathi sahakutumbasya noothana Gruha
pravesa samdarbha samayena sakala soubhaagya
Siddhyartham laghu vidanena Lakshmi Poojaam karishye

Put the akshatas on the bottom door frame and touch water
in the glass with ring finger

Nmaha “ 15 times and do pooja with flowers or kumkuma to the
door step )

Dhoopam Aaghraapayaami

(Light the Incense stick put out the fire and show to Door
Frame)

Deepam darsayaami
 Show the lamp to Door Frame

13 Eim Hreem Sreem Sree Maatre Namaha Maha Lakshmyai

Naivedyam nivedayaami

(Offer milk in silver glass added with pinch of edible camphor

and couple of drops of honey Or Fruits in a plate)

 Recite below once by sprinkling water in clockwise

direction..

bharghodevasya dheemahi dhiyo yonah prachodayat
Om aaapo jyothee rasomrutham
Brahma bhoorbhuvah suvaroam
Satyam thvarthena parishinchaami

 Put a drop of ghee and recite

Amrutha masthu Amruthopastharanamasi

Om pranaya swaha
Om apanaya swaha
Om vyanaya swaha
Om udanaya swaha
Om samanaya swaha
Om brahmane swaha

madhye madye amruta paaneeyam samarpayami

(Place a water drop on the door step)

 Recite mantra given below by sprinkling water in

anticlockwise direction around the plate in which the
naivedyam is put

Amrutha masthu amruthaapidhaanamasi

Uttara ouposanam samarpayaami

Recite mantras below and follow instructions given.

Aananda karpoora neeraajanam Darsayaami

(Light camphor and show it to Door Frame, then put a drop of

water)

Rakshaam dhaarayaami (with both hands upside down

above the lighted camphor and take the heat on to your eyes )

16. With akshataas and water in right hand say the following:

Mantra heenam kriyaa heenam bhakti heenam sradhaa

heenam dravya heenam parameshwaree yath poojitham
mayaadevi paripoornam thadasthuthey

Mayaakruta etat poojaa sarvam Mahalakshmee

Arpanamasthu----Drop akshataas and water between
middle and ring fingers into a plate and recite-------

Om Poornamathaha Poornamidam Poornaath

Poornamudachyate Poornasya Poornamaadaaya
Poornamevaa Avasishyate
