Louise P. Dempsey Erin Lavelle worked in my split 4/5th grade self-contained classroom from October 30th to
Vice Chair December 1st, 2017. I was her cooperating teacher during her 60 hour field study for a
methods course.

Anne E. Bingham Erin formed a good rapport with students in my classroom throughout her time. She
arrived on time and was prepared every day for her teaching assignment. She was so

interested in learning and growing her knowledge and pedagogy in the classroom that

Stephanie Morales Erin taught lessons primarily in Social Studies and Science along with progress
monitoring in ELA and assisting with Math. While preparing lessons Erin communicated

with me how she planned to teach the standards and what resources she will be using.
She showed a strong knowledge of technology and internet resources and made an
Ex Officio Members effort to help students connect to each lesson.

Throughout Erin’s time in my classroom she showed a strong desire to learn content and
classroom management strategies to help improve her teaching practice. She responds
well to constructive feedback and makes the effort to make each lesson she teaches

I recommend Erin Lavelle for a teaching position. I believe with guidance she will be a
valuable asset to any school district.
