Diccionario bilingüe

Es un libro útil de referencia que le facilita la traducción de cualquier

palabra de uso común.

UTILIDADES DEL DICCIONARIO BILINGÜE.

El diccionario bilingüe es aquel que ofrece dos listas alfabéticas de

términos, una en cada uno de los idiomas de los que se ocupa, y traduce
los significados.

Con un Diccionario, puedes aprender:

-Como deletrear una palabra.

-Lo que significa una palabra.
-Que parte del discurso es la palabra.
-Cuantas silabas tiene la palabra.
-Si una palabra lleva o no mayúsculas.
-Como abreviar una palabra (ex= USA).
-El significado de prefijos y sufijos de una palabra.

ORDEN ALFABÉTICO:
Las únicas diferencias en el orden alfabético con relación al castellano
es que no existen como letras la CH, LL y Ñ. Por lo tanto, la CH se
encuentra dentro de la C; y la LL dentro de la L.
ABREVIATURAS:
Es importante que cada persona se familiarice con las abreviaturas
utilizadas en su diccionario y conozca su significado, el cual aparece al
inicio del diccionario.
PALABRAS O SÍLABAS GUÍA:
Estas aparecen en la parte superior de la página de la mayoría de los
diccionarios bilingües para indicar la primera palabra/sílaba (guía
izquierda) y la última palabra/sílaba (guía derecha).
FUNCIÓN GRAMATICAL:
En inglés, más que en castellano, una palabra puede tener diferentes
significados de acuerdo al lugar que ocupe en la oración.
1. Comprar un diccionario bilingüe adecuado. Este paso es
importante ya que si no se tiene un diccionario adecuado no
servirá.
2. Leer las instrucciones de uso. A pesar de aquí se explica cómo se
debe utilizar un diccionario bilingüe es importante leer las
instrucciones por si trae algunas sugerencias o precauciones.
3. Aprender las abreviaciones de las partes del discurso. Este paso
es necesario porque si no sabemos esto, no podremos saber al
momento de buscar que parte del discurso es la palabra.
4. Buscar primero en el lado idioma español y después como se dice
la palabra en inglés. Tenemos que hacer este paso porque si no
se sabe cómo se dice la palabra en ingles no se podrá buscar en
el lado inglés.
5. Buscar ahora del lado ingles la palabra. Para esto debemos de ir
en orden alfabético.
6. Encontrar en que parte empieza la letra de la palabra buscada. En
este paso por ejemplo, si se busca “sugar” se debe ir a la letra s.
7. Localizar la palabra guía. Se encuentra en la parte superior de
lado izquierdo, en el caso de buscar “sugar” se deberá buscar en
la palabra guía donde empieza con “su” que son las letras con las
que empieza nuestra palabra.
8. Buscar en la página de la palabra guía el vocablo que queremos.
Para esto se va buscando alfabéticamente o seguir la forma en
que van las palabras.
9. Leer la definición y ver que parte del discurso es. Es importante
leer la definición y ver la parte discurso a la que pertenece para
informarnos sobre la palabra.
10. ¡Genial! Ahora sabes cómo usar un diccionario bilingüe en
cualquier caso, e inclusive puedes usar los que existen en línea.
