General Concept of Civil Engineering Structure

In this article today I will discuss the General concept of civil engineering structure which are too
has to much important rule in civil engineering.

We have some General concept of civil engineering structure which

are given:

2: Item of work and their Unit
3: Calculation of Quantity of steel, concrete and formwork

1: Working Drawing
Drawing study is too much important for every engineer, because if you don’t know
about the working drawing than you are not able to start the any structure construction at site. So
civil engineer must be knowing the better knowledge about working drawing of any structure.

2: Item of work and their units

First we know that what kind of item will be used in the structure and also their unit
because without the item work units we can’t find the quantity of materials.

3: Calculation of Quantity of steel, concrete and formwork

After the work and units we are able to find the steel calculation for RCC structure in
detail from the required design, and also the concrete calculation for materials with their
formwork.

4: Bar Bending Schedule

Bar Bending Schedule is the basic sheet for cutting length of steel and their calculation,
so for every RCC structure we make the Bar Bending schedule for cutting length of bent up bars
and also to find out the total weight of steel.

5: Measurement Sheet
For civil engineering materials we provide the measurement sheet to find total quantity of
materials in detail.
