What do you consider a) the most important issue for London? And b)
the most important issue for the ward in which you’re running?
a. The most important issues facing the City of London are long-term
financial stability, cost control, economic development, sustainable
growth and improving the quality of life for our citizens. We need
strong leaders on Council who are focused and dedicated to executing
the long-term plans we have put in place over the past four years.
London has the potential to become one of the great, medium sized
cities in the world.

It’s time for the Corporation of London to follow suit with everyone else that has been
hit with the economic downturn. If we can make do with less , why do we assume the
City of London can not?
For too long we have been heading in the wrong direction. We have reached new highs
in unemployment and property taxes with no end in sight. Our current council has lost
sight of the average Londoner and has spent far too much time on posturing and pilot
projects. It is time to get real London solutions to London problems.
What do you consider a) the most important issue for London? And b) the most
important issue for the ward in which you’re running?
The most important issue facing Londoners is value for taxes. With year after year
property taxes increasing we have seen very little in regards to value. Road conditions,
services, crime have all statistically gotten worse, yet, we pay more every year. It’s time
to stop the sensless spending on pilot projects that have no return on value and start to
focus on the real problems.
In ward 6 the biggest concern would be the neighbourhoods that have both long term and
short term residents. As the university ward we have created a non nourishing
environment to our students. We have become a nanny state with bylaw after bylaw
being enacted with very little being done in regards to solutions. By restricting and
segregating our very important student population we essentially tell them that this city is
not here for you. With 25,000 students a year the impact on the economy is large, would
we not want to create a society that makes them feel welcomed? Over the years they
have been painted with a negative brush. One bad apple does not ruin the bushel.
