FORMAT FOR PROJECT REPORT

1. Contents: The project report should be prepared as per sequence given below:

INTRODUCTION
LITERATURE SURVEY
METHODOLOGY
i. MATERIAL UTILIZED
ii. WORK PLAN (PHASE WISE WORK PLAN OF
ACTION WITH TIME LINE AND
DELIVERABLES IN TABULAR FORM)
iii. WORK PLACE
iv. WORK DONE
v. APPROXIMATE COST
vi. OUTCOME OF PROJECT

2. Binding Specifications: The dimension of the project report should be in A4 size.

The project report must be bound using hardcover of black colour. The cover of
report must be printed with golden ink.

3. Fonts: The impression on the typed copies should be black in colour. One and a half
spacing should be used for typing the general text. The general text shall be typed in
the Times New Roman style and Font size 12 and paragraphs must be justified. The
title of each chapter must be in uppercase, bold, font size 16 and centered. The Main
(first order) headings must be uppercase, bold with font size 14. Sub-headings (second
order) must have font size 12, bold and initial letter capitalized.

4. General Guidelines:

a) All chapter titles, headings, and sub-headings must be written in the

table of contents.

 b) For each level of title or heading, consistent format in font size and
style, numbering or lettering, and placement should be maintained
throughout the text.
c) All figure and tables must be captioned and numbered.
