MY PERSONAL TIMELINE PROJECT

We are learning about timelines and how they help us see changes over time. During our Biography unit, we
will developed a timeline for the main character of our text in class.

YOUR TASK: Create a timeline of events that have happened each year of your life and
plan on presenting to the class.

Requirements:
● Your project has a title
● One event for each year of life. Each event must include:
o A photograph or illustration
o A date
o 2-3 sentences describing the event and its importance (neatly written or typed)
o A line is drawn connecting the event to the timeline

You may use any type of materials to create your personal timeline. For example, you may use construction
paper, poster board, labels, computer printouts, or any other materials you choose. Here is an example of a
personal timeline:

You will find the rubric we will use

to grade your project and
presentation on the back of this sheet.

Have fun! Projects are due April 23, 2018.
