General 0, 1 & 2 monday- All students were familiar with strategies and facts, some students
Instruction needed more “reaction time” to problems, while others could answer right away. Students
& Class didn’t need much instruction, just refreshing, with 0 & 1 strategies, most needed instruction
Notes time to remember to double twos (use repeated addition)
5’s instruction tuesday for LH, AH, TL & EB (knew snow was coming), skip counting and
knowing ended in 5 & 0 were favorite strategy
Wednesday- Snow Day
Did 5’s for the rest on Thursday after snow day-- all used skip counting. Worked on using
5’s facts they MEMORIZED to then skip count on or back.
10’s instruction for ALL Friday, they finished work. Only DK did not finish in math. Again,
didn’t need much instruction just refreshing of strategies.
