To all team members on operation,

According to the issue of re-opening of the cabin door which


caused the delay of the flight, all staff please note it below:

1. The re-opening of the cabin door after fully ready for departure
will be conducted due to safety reason only, including sick
passenger, aircraft malfunction, extended delay, paperwork update
and so on.

2. It is the solely responsibility of the Captain who can make the


decision to re-open the cabin door. It is strong ly recommend to
make the decision in a prudent manner.

3. During the time when re-open the cabin door, the cabin crew
has to follow the instruction of operating the cabin door with
extreme caution.
4. For security concern, whenever there is a passenger
disembarking after re-opening of the cabin door, the security
confirmation should be made timely and carefully by cabin crew.
The cabin hand baggage can not be far away from the passenger,
who is responsible of the belongings. The safety would not be
ensured if any baggage left in the cabin or the cargo bay.

5. Whenever there is a re-opening of cabin door, the Captain has


to make a written report according to the “Event Report form” listed
in the appendix within 24 hours after released from duty with the
reason and detailed information. The report should be sent to OCC,
and copied to FOD, CCD, GSD and MED at the same time.

and manuals.
