Self-reflection of the hungry caterpillar lesson

Lesson details

The lesson divided into 4 parts first a story, second explanation, third listening activity and last
speaking activity. The good things that happen that the students understand the lesson,
I achieved the objectives and my language was easy and proper because I saw the students can
understand me. also, when I walked around to check the students' progress. But in the next time
I will follow the teacher comment that I should to show the students a sample for the activity's, to
do not feel nervous, and to be more prepared because the lesson was confused, and I was not
sure what to do specifically. In addition, my classroom management was working well because
the students were quit.
I can say that the children learned the fruits and how to write them because the students were
participating and answering the questions correctly in the both activities, and that show me that
the pupils understand.

(Remember: THE IMPORTANT THING IS NOT THE LESSON; IT IS HOW MUCH YOU ARE LEARNING / WHAT YOU
UNDERSTAND ABOUT YOUR TEACHING / THE WAY STUDENTS LEARN. the more detailed your comments are, the higher
your grade will be) A very good lesson but a weak / incomplete / over-general reflection will mean a lower grade for the reflection.
However, a (very) good / not so good lesson and a very detailed / very complete / very specific reflection about it will mean a
higher grade for the reflection.

SELF REFLECTION

What went well? Why do I think it went well?

If I gave the lesson again, what would I change and why?

How was my classroom management?

What did the children learn?

How do I know this?

Self-reflection for ss sound lesson

Lesson details

The lesson is about introducing the sound ss, its aim to listen to the words that contain the sound
ss and repeat them, at the end of the lesson there will be writing and copying the words which
have ss sound.
The beginning of the lesson went well, where the students were focusing and participating. Also,
the student met the goal of recognize the sound ss and this is what went will, in other hand I
faced difficulty to control the learners, because of my lack of controlling, and the low effect on the
students. Next time I will not let the students come in front and gather them because they started
to make noise after that. Basically, nothing of my management strategies went well. I can say that
the children learned the phonic sound ss, words included ss, how to spill it correctly and to write
ss.

(Remember: THE IMPORTANT THING IS NOT THE LESSON; IT IS HOW MUCH YOU ARE LEARNING / WHAT YOU
